We occupied 2 cabins the first week in April. We had an beautiful view of the volcano and the grounds were very peaceful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we spent a lot of time on the little porch with our camera and binoculars enjoying the wildlife. Lisbeth (the owner?) was extremely attentive and friendly -she cooks an awesome... More

We spent our first 2 nights in Costa Rica at the Hotel Campo Verde and were delighted at the location. Although the volcano was surrounded in mist/clouds, the view of the lovely garden area was peaceful. We loved the cabins as we only heard the sounds of the night (howler monkeys, frogs, etc.). The staff were very friendly and helpful... More

We arrived on a clear day and we had an unobstructed view of the volcan. The staff is extremely friendly and we booked all tours thru them. The cabins have A-C, safe, tv, cofee maker and a mini fridge. Breakfast is simple but good quality. Is not self service you have 4 options to choose from Tico Breakfast- gallo pinto,... More

It was a beautiful area with lovely garden area with many flowering bushes, hummingbirds with a great unobstructed view of the mountain. It is out of town so there is not many reasonably priced options for lunch and dinner if you do not have a car. About a $14 taxi ride each way. The biggest concern is that after leaving... More

The place is out of town, but especially if you have a car, worthwhile visiting. It is on the way to hiking around the volcano and to hot springs. The grounds are beautiful and the cabins very nice. Singing birds are waking you up and if you are lucky with the weather, the volcano is in front of you. If... More

This is a great hotel in a good location. It was one recommended to me by Gecko Trail Adventures. It is in between the town of LaFortuna and the Arenal Volcano. I enjoyed most the openness & beautiful view of the volcano. We had a patio right outside our cabin with well manicured grounds. Cows were grazing next door on... More

We had a junior suite cabin which was roomy and had a great view of the volcano. I think all of the rooms have views of the volcano. It was private and quiet. We had a little patio facing the volcano, which was nice. The breakfasts were good. The staff were very friendly, but didn't speak much English. They gave... More

Everything at Campo Verde was perfect. We truly enjoyed our stay. The staff is very friendly and the view was unbelievable. It is located near all the other hotels and resorts as well as the hot springs. Our villa (#6) was very clean and had updated floors, comfy beds, cold A/C, large shower to fit the entire family if need... More

We liked the cabin. Very clean, with beautiful grounds. Breakfast was good. The stay was a bit expensive, but all the places around the volcano are expensive. Would provide a brilliant view of the volcano--if the weather cooperates. The restaurant at the hotel next door (towards LaFortuna) had good, reasonable food. The other two restaurants across the road within walking... More
