My husband and I traveled to La Fortuna with his native Costa Rican family (from San Jose) and a group of friends from the states. To start with, the hotel staff treats everyone like family: they even helped us book our tours, although there was no "commission" in it for them. They cook the breakfast fresh every morning and never... More

okay so I stayed next door at the run down lavas Tacotel Hotel. But found Campo Verde and my kids and I hung out and had breakfast at Campo verde. I have to say the staff are amazing. Especially Maribel and Marcella!!.They really take pride in what they are doing. When I return to Costa Rica I will absolutely stay... More

The dodgy hotel where I've made a reservation. The Manager of the hotel charged my entire reservation, even before notification of the Booking. com, acting with bad faith after an event of greater force that prevented us from reaching the hotel. Even so, charged by ALL the DAYS of OUR BOOKING, even we taking in communication directly with the hotel... More

Location is great, very close to Arenal and the hot springs. I was unfortunately unlucky and could not see the volcano due to weather conditions while I was there. But I still enjoyed staying there. The cabins are nice and private, and they all have a deck with volcano view. The staff at the front desk was always helpful and... More

We loved our stay at Hotel Campo Verde. The rooms are beautiful & the view of the volcano is breathtaking. Breakfast options were also good. We had a car, so the location worked for us, but it is pretty far out of town if you don't have transportation - & the restaurant across the street would be the only (&... More

Stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. Basically you get your own little bungalow for a good price. Food, service, cleanliness and value for money were excellent. Oh and your view is straight up to the Arenal volcanoe. We recieved excellent service from the front desk whenever we asked for help, even for onward travel! Would highly recommend this... More

Campo Verde was a great place to stay. It was exactly as advertised on their website. The rooms are spacious, simple and comfortable. No extra bells or whistles, but we definitely had everything we needed. A short drive from La Fortuna and Arenal Volcano National Park as well as all the Hot Springs. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The... More

We just stayed here in one of the cabins and absolutely loved it! The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in planning fun things to do around town and helping us change our travel last minute due to an unforseen complication. The cabins are simple but provide everything you need and provide great views of Arenal. We will stay... More

these little cabins are a great choice to be closer to nature in such a lovely place. the staff is very helpful with directions and activity reservations, the breakfast is great, homemade and varied. by the way, if you go to the hot springs near the hotel bring your own towels! they charge $10 per towel if you don't!

We (Dutch couple) stayed in this location for two nights (24-26 oktober) Large bungalows, well treated with a spectaculair view on the Arenal. Beautiful garden environment with lots of birds and butterfly's. Each bungalow has it's own porch with gardenlook and of course the Arenal. Friendly staff and choice between three kinds of breakfast. We were lucky to see the... More
