This hotel was prt of our honeymoon and is a place that should be visited by anyone coming to Arenal. Each room had a fabulous view of the Arenal volcano. We were welcomed with a beautiful bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon and a free mud pack at the spa. The rooms are spacious with two double beds. They... More

Our room was a very good room! We had a huge shower, (enough to fit 6 people), and we had a very good view of the volcano from our room. The volcano was covered by the clouds, but we still saw some of it. We could also see the volcano from the restaurant as well. The spa there was amazing!... More

my review is definitely tainted. The lodges we stayed before and after here were secluded luxury lodges there were very small and intimate. So it was a little bit of a let down to be in this large resort. Essentially it is a small neighborhood and each person is staying in a condo. All rooms have views of the volcano.... More

The good: The resort grounds are stunning. Quite possibly the most gorgeous landscaping I've ever seen. The staff is friendly and competent The two pools are clean and quite large. The food at the restaurant was better than we expected -- consistently "good." The units themselves are beautiful from the outside. The not-so-good: Wireless access is -- at best --... More

We stayed here with a Caravan tour. The property is beautiful, and the room was wonderful. The only con was that the a/c unit was terribly noisy. We were advised to bring a flashlight, and it certainly was useful on the walk to dinner. The dining area was so very pleasant, having a view of the volcano from any table.... More

This was a really great spot from every angle. Fantastic views of Arenal volcano from our room patio. The rooms were very comfortable with great bathrooms. The pool, and restaurant were both wonderful with healthy safe food and warm water. MANY interesting birds right on property. Will book all tours for you.

We love this hotel/resort. We came last year for our honeymoon and returned this year for our one year anniversary. The customer service is great right when you step into the lobby and continues with the restaurant and bar staff along with housekeeping. The villas are spread out throughout the property and are only attached to one other room. The... More

First, so you won't miss it - cons: no WiFi throughput in evening during prime time; zero. Room was so dark that I could not read in bed - asked for a bed side table lamp three times and was told maintenance would respond, to no avail. Else, I would have given this hotel a 5. The room was quite... More

I loved the spacious rooms with porches so that I could sit and look for wildlife in the morning/evening. They have a variety of wildlife on property as well as many different beautiful flowers, etc. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable, & had good free wifi. From our room, 119, there was no view of the volcano(which they boast in... More

This is a great place! Wish we had planned to stay here much longer. Staff was friendly and helpful. Several nesting hummingbirds in March. Grounds and birds/wildlife are beautiful. Spa/massage staff and facilities were wonderful! Tours in the area were splendid - Arenal Hanging Bridges was the one we enjoyed the most. Lots of fresh fruit. Clean.
