I stayed two nights in room #11 and enjoyed lovely garden views near the water apple tree. We were served these for breakfast and they're not too sweet but the birds and monkeys ate them. Front lobby has excellent wifi and free coffee and Ten Ren tea. We were on an Explorica tour for 20 people and the dinners were... More

The location and landscape is perfect. Breakfast was free and very good. Our group had to cut our trip short due to a medical emergency and the staff was so understanding. They didn't charge us for the day we left for the hospital. This is a beautiful place!

Lets start with a word of warning about the road from Liberia to this area. We did this at night in a driving rainstorm and the narrow bridges, invisible potholes and blind bends on a narrow road created some "white knuckle moments " to say the least !!! Anyway on to the hotel... After the drive from hell , thinking... More

We had an amazing stay here in September. You get your own little cabin in the rain forest and the rooms were spacious. Everyone at the hotel was super nice and helpful, the grounds were gorgeous, and the breakfast was tasty. It really felt like you were sleeping out in the jungle here and we loved it! Couldn't have asked... More

The hotel has beautiful cabins, each one has an amazing view of the luscious fauna around. The rooms are kept clean every day and are very respectful of your belongings. The staff is always extremely helpful and answering all questions that you may have. It is also near the town. I highly recommend this place!

We could not have picked a better hotel for our visit to this beautiful town. We enjoyed every single minute of it and will be coming back to Kokoro should we find ourselves in La Fortuna again. The staff was very friendly and breakfast was delicious. The one day we were able to see the volcano, we had beautiful view... More

Pros: the stand alone cabin-style rooms surrounded by lush tropical plants really make you feel like you are living in the rain forest, gorgeous outdoor lobby and grounds, spacious rooms with huge shower, amazing and helpful staff, bottled water/coffee/tea available in lobby, all you can eat breakfast buffet with lots of choices, we really enjoyed our delicious dinner in the... We stayed in #14 which had a volcano view when the sky cleared. We were disappointed when we arrived late in the day when there was no restaurant despite the pictures on their website, but the desk clerk, Diana, was very helpful in ordering carry outs. Room was spacious and had a fridge but no wifi in rooms. Nice breakfast... More

Stayed here in March 2015 and was blown away by the beauty of the gardens and the grounds. The staff were always smiling and super happy to help. The the bungalow room we stayed in was super clean and cute. The natural hot springs were lovely too. This is a family run business and Felico went above and beyond. I... More

Stayed in cabin #6, which had a great view of the volcano from our main (cracked right down the middle) window. Overall, it was a good stay. Diana was really helpful in recommending two the restaurants we checked out during out stay (Benedictus, for steaks; Soda Viquez, for tipico eats). Basic furnishings, with working A/C. The bed was quite comfortable,... More
