From the time we arrived the entire staff bent over backwards to make us happy. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The grounds are perpetually cared for and beautiful. The hot spring pools are a wonderful place to relax after the days adventure. Don't expect the dining experience to be 5 star but the choices are surprisingly varied. Again,... More

A real gem this. You are immediately struck by the beauty of the grounds. They are stunning and full of colourful birds. The birds are fed at breakfast time and as a result breakfast may take a while as you will keep stopping to take photos. Staff are great, especially reception staff who helped us with trips, taxis etc. I... More

Every minute of our stay was special and made us feel so pampered. It is an exceptional property and rivals anything we experienced in our travels. The grounds, the cabins, and the pools were breathtaking with amazing views of the volcano. We ate dinner in the resort twice and the food was excellent. The pools are beautiful and private. Relaxing... More

We enjoyed our stay here! Spent the first two nights of our CR Spring Break trip here, and it was a great way to get acclimated to Tico Time. The dinner was decent 'tipico' fare, and the included breakfast was excellent. The real highlight of the property, of course, are the hot springs behind all the bungalows. They're open pretty... We stayed for 2 nights and would have liked to stay longer. The grounds are well kept, and the view of the volcano is wonderful. The thermal springs and assorted spa's and swimming pools are inviting and comfortable. Front desk and other service personnel were friendly and professional. Cab ride into La Fortuna was $8 - not bad and worthwhile... More

We had a two night stay at this most wonderful and stunning hotel . From the outset we were blown away with the breath taking scenery surrounding the hotel, including, the Arenal Volcano (assuming there is no cloud cover on the day!!), the natural thermal spa in the hotel surroundings and the general layout of the chalets . The birdlife... More

My husband, son, daughter and I stayed in two cabins next door to each other. Every morning and evening, we got together on the little porch and talked and laughed and had a great time. Son and daughter are in college, so we see them very infrequently, so it was great to have a place to sit and chat, not... More

Went here for 3 nights as the last part of our tour of Costa Rica. It was an amazing experience from the moment of arrival until we left. Greeted with a drink, our car was taken and bags put into our room whilst we were checked in by Ronald, our Eco Concierge. This guy is the definition of excellent customer... More

What a comfortable and relaxing environment! After coming from below-freezing temperatures in NYC, this was such a welcome little retreat. The staff members are so nice and seem to genuinely want you to have an enjoyable experience. The food all day is great. The hot springs were a welcome surprise; there are a couple of little pools all well cared... More

The term "heavenly" was used thoughout our stay as we took full advantage of the hot springs and spa for a couples facial. Although we were there for only three nights, we felt like we were treated like family by all of the staff from the minute we booked our respect. Eliomar was so helpful booking our stay as well...
