This was the perfect place to stay for myself and my wedding guests. The room are very clean and spacious. Also, great breakfast included in the morning. My friends and I enjoyed hanging out in the hot springs after a long day of adventures. Highly recommend this hotel while staying in La Fortuna. It also close to the downtown area.

Loved having our own cabin, felt immediately relaxing and kind of like an upscale summer camp. Nice also to step out of the cabin and see this massive volcano (weather permitting)! Sat on our porch playing games one night and was rather distracted by all the lovely birds flying everywhere. They even put fruit on a tree by the open-air... More

Wonderful escape nestled in the cloud forest outside of San Jose. From the owner Karen, to general manager Wesley, and concierge Ronald the entire staff were superb in their hospitality presentation. The restaurant offered some of the best meals we've ever enjoyed, try the Trout Au Gratin. The Zip Line was fantastic due to the scenery, high level of provided... More

We are currently staying at Hotel El Silencio del Campo and we feel we could not have made a better choice. Each villa is beautifully decorated and has an unobstructed view of the volcano. The grounds are perfectly maintained and the staff could not be nicer. There is a bar near the hot spring pools which is a nice way... More

Fantastic stay at this lovely hotel. Great hot springs and breakfast. Waking up every morning to look at the volcano was the cherry on the ice cream. However I can't say enough good things about the employees, they upgraded us, made us feel at home and helped us whenever we needed anything. Overall if you can book this place!

Excellent hotel. Cabanas are large with your own terrace with views of the volcano!. Very comfortabe beds and spotlessly clean. Great breakfast, and wild life everywhere. It is a nice place were you do not feel like a tourist in a huge resort. Yo feel like a local. The highlight is you have the natural thermal pool on the backyard...... More

We only spent one night at el silencio but could easily have spent a week there. Our cabin was huge with very tall ceilings. The location is really close to the volcano, and the volcano dominates the view. At night, the cabins are lit up. The hot pools at the hotel are probably the best part about the place. With... More

Beautiful, absolutely immaculate, small, cabin-style hotel. We are not "big resort" people and this property was perfect for us. We are an empty-nester couple but I imagine it would be a wonderful place for children as there is a small playground and farm animals on site. The restaurant uses the eggs laid by it's own chickens and guests are invited... More

This was probably the best "hotel" I've ever stayed at. The scenery was beautiful. It felt like you had the whole place to yourself. We stayed in Cabin 18 which was towards the back and it was perfect. The pool/hot springs were very private, even though you were sharing them with the rest of the visitors. And the staff was...
