We spent 2 nights at El Silencio Del Campo and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area! the bungalows are beautiful, spacious, and clean, the staff is super nice, and they have the best bar tender: Jose!!! the hot springs and complimentary facial were just the icing on the cake. Loved it!

La Fortuna was our first stop in Costa Rica, and turning off the road into El Silencio del Campo instantly immersed us in Tico hospitality and beauty. The hotel is made of collection of lovely individual cabins set in a beautiful garden. We had a perfect view of the Arenal Volcano from the front patio of our cabin. One of... More

I recently stayed here for my honeymoon and we had a wonderful experience. The resort consists of around 20 individual houses, so every couple or family has their own space. That made it feel very private. The rooms were great and spacious with high ceilings and plenty of storage for clothes. There are 5 natural hot springs pools and one... More

I went to Costa Rica with a group of friends and this hotel was our favorite! Everyone has an individual cabin, which are quite large and very comfortable. Our cabin had two queen beds and a single (we had 4 people), but the front desk told us they had a lot of different combinations. There wasn't much storage inside the... More

Our accommodations were well kept and beautiful. If we needed anything like ice more towels or directions all our needs were met with a smile and a kind word. Eilo at the front desk could not have been more helpful from spa time scheduling to tours his customer service was outstanding. Jose at the hot spring bar made great drinks... More

We loved our days at El Silencio del Campo. The grounds were breathtaking, the cabins were comfortable, with great beds and ammenities, the food was good at every meal, the hot springs were very private and comfortable (I liked them better than the pricier Tabacon Hot Springs!) and all the people we met who worked there were friendly and helpful... Spent 3 nights at El Silencio based on the reviews from this site. Wonderful hotel to come back to after a day of touring. The numerous hot spring pools are great to relax in, although the popular ones seemed to be those that were a little cooler. Great service by everyone we met, special thanks to Eliomar for help in... My family spent our first couple nights in Costa Rica in this lovely and welcoming little hotel. My husband and I had a cottage with a huge soaking jacuzzi tub. Our room was quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Coffee in the patio in the morning listening to the birds was wonderful. Our 18 and 21 yr old sons shared a cottage... More

Each "room" is an individual bungalow; very comfortable, fresh, and luxurious. Adding to the charm was an outside bar, a cool spa, and several natural hot springs on the grounds. Oh and the shower was our favorite during our 13 day trip. We also received an awesome free facial with a two night stay. Dining at the restaurant was delicious,... More

Nice view of Volcano, weather permitting a bit oustide of town so quieter, but Fortuna is very close Service was outstanding.
