Cozy cabins just off the center of La Fortuna, perfect location, clean cabins, family owned hotel, we very much enjoyed our stay, breakfast is also very good! You are a short ride to the fall at the end of the road. Nice view of the volcano as well. We recommand a stay at Arenal Green !

Well located chalets. Quite basic but ours did have a fridge and TV. Nice breakfast and helpful staff. Really seemed to want us to go to a particular spa so may be on commission. Generally though, recommended. Fantastic waterfall about 3km away.

The staff at the hotel is what sets this location apart! You feel like family! Let me start by saying that when on the morning of my wedding ceremony, there were no taxis available, the owner did not hesitate to jump into action. He pulled his car around and said, "My car is available for you as soon as you... More

Cute bungalow just near volcano, chocolate tour and other Interesting things To do. The staff is great and if it's your first time in CR like me... It's like a Paradise 😇. Pass by the cascades or the ziplining 3miles more up. You won't regret It.

We stayed our first two nights in Costa Rica in cabin #3 and #4 with our two teenage kids. We found the service from the family excellent and the cabins basic but clean and comfortable. We were not interested in doing hot springs while in the Arenal area (and also did not hike around the volcano or do any activities... More

NOTE: RESTAURANT AT HOTEL DOES NOT SERVE LUNCH OR DINNER! We were mislead by many reviews on TripAdvisor for this hotel which said they ate lunch/dinner at this restaurant -- not sure what those reviews are talking about, perhaps a different hotel. Obviously not the fault of Arenal Green, but important to know. Good: * Clean rooms, very well kept... More

We had specifically looked for a place outside of town, and Arenal Green was it. It took about 20-30min to walk and we paid $3-5 for a taxi. The cabin was great with two queen beds, a built-in tv, a refrigerator and a big bathroom with hot water. No need to spend money on a massage just use the shower... More

We stayed in a bungalow with two beds 19-22 Nov 2015, there was not much room to move around since the beds took up most of the room, and with our suitcases it was cramped. The shower was large and plenty of hot water. We rented a car, the walk to town would be at least 30 minutes. No stores... More

This is a nice family run hotel in good condition. The bungalows are clean and exactly as pictured. The location is safe and in walking (hiking) distance to town. Marco, the owners son, is excellent and willing to help with whatever you need. The tv has a clear picture and the ac works relatively well during the day and outstanding... More

What a great stay! Everyone that works at this hotel was incredibly friendly, especially Mister Fruit, aka Manito. Every cabin is beautiful and rustic. They all have great views on the volcano (when it's not fogged in). The grounds are immaculate. There's a free breakfast every morning that is the best I probably had in Costa Rica. We even had...
