We stayed at the Arenal Springs Resort and Spa in March 2013, and I have not been able to stop daydreaming about the incredible spa services. We were rained out off one of the tours we had planned in advance, so I treated our 8 year old and myself to a message. First off, let me say that my barre... More

We spent only one night but found this place lovely. The rooms are great, clean, fresh and with everything you need. Nice garden bathrooms as well. We spend the afternoon in the thermal pools and enjoyed the swim up bar. The staff are both very friendly and very helpful and went a long way to make our short stay pleasant.... More

Stayed here two nights during our tour, a great place to recharge your batteries. The accomodation is set out mainly in semi-detached bungalows. These have good size modern bedrooms with shower rooms. They all have a great view the the volcano (which fortunately could be clearly seen during our stay - even the summit). The bungalows are all set out... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. The room is very nice and the grounds are beautiful. We never saw the top of the volcano as it was covered in clouds. We were able to eat a dinner buffet which started at 6:30pm at the big restaurant on site for $20.00 US pp (includes taxes & 10%... More

Exceeded every expectation we could have had. From the moment you arrive to the moment you depart we could not have been treated better. Not only is the resort beautiful but the staff is unbelievable. Not at any moment in time do you feel unwelcomed or out of place. We spent most of our time poolside with Erick and his... More

Arriving at this hotel late afternoon, we were greeted with a cool fruit drink, then checked in and explained the layout of the hotel complex. Our apartment was No. 902, at the far end of the complex, we were escorted there on a golf buggy with our luggage. It's was a first floor apartment which gave us an excellent view... More

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 2 children, ages 8 & 10. I will say that there were not a lot of kids here, BUT we felt totally welcomed. The breakfast was some of the best food we ate during our week in Costa Rica. And, the hot springs were quite possible the most relaxing part of the... More

We stayed here two nights. It was wonderful. We had a room with two double beds. There was lots of room. We liked the fact that each building is basically a duplex. We had a great view of the volcano, which was beautiful. The grounds are really nice. The dining room is outside and provides a really pleasant area to... More

This was our best stay at Arenal Springs of the 4 times we've been there. They have done extensive expansion of the hot springs & pool area. The rooms are comfortable & clean. The bathrooms are nice but only a small area for toiletries. The volcano view is super for most of the cabinas with small front porches & rocking... More
