Room and bed were nice & comfortable. I don't know if everyone knows this- but to keep the lights on there is a slot for your room key- I guess to help cut down on leaving everything on when you're away- had to call the front desk in a very dark room so a heads up would've been nice- but... More

This hotel was very nice. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed watching an iguana by the pool. The food was good and the staff was nice. The rain at night was very loud on the metal roof. Rooms were air conditioned and there was wifi. My one issue was that, while all the walkways were under cover, the stairs... More

The hotel grounds are beautiful with a perfect view of the volcano (on a clear day). The pools and hot springs are the reason why you need to stay here! I could have spend all my days at the swim-up bar in the nice, warm water!

Nice relaxing place, great details on gardens and hot springs were fantastic. Very good food on pool bar, no need to go further from the area. Nice room, safe suraundings. Pool area indoor showers need to improve privacy.

The grounds are stunning. the landscaping is beautiful, lush and tropical. The pools are warm from the hotsprings being piped in. We thought it was a good savings of time and money to have hotsprings at our hotel. The room is not the largest but it is very clean and comfortable. It is ecofriendly, so no electricity until you put... More

We loved this place! We had our own little bungalow and it had a real "zen" atmosphere. The shower ceiling opened up at the top a little and one night I was showering with a few real raindrops. The staff was amazing, food was great, had several pool areas with natural hot springs. We wanted to stay longer!

We stayed for four nights in June, a family of four in two suites. We had to move mid-stay due to a minor flood in one room caused by all the rain, but the staff handled it efficiently, quickly laundered the clothing that had gotten wet, and moved us to two new rooms. The resort rooms were very quiet and... More

We spent two nights while touring Costa Rica at this beautiful resort and loved it! The food was excellent, the hot springs fed pool inviting and a great pool bar! It was rainy most of the time we were there but we still enjoyed touring the area. We caught a glimpse of the top of the volcano one night for... More

My best friend and I stayed at Arenal Springs for 3 nights this past June. The grounds were lovely around the pool area specifically. The hot spring pool were much warmer than I expected and felt good after a day of hiking the volcano or white water rafting. The food prices in the restaurants were fairly pricey but we found... Unless you are staying at this hotel do not bother with the day pass. The staff at the hotel has an different attitude toward the day pass visitors than the people staying at the resort. There are other hotels that have just as nice hot springs
