At the base of the Arenal Volcano, this resort is laid out so each unit has a view of the mountain from your front porch which they furnish with comfortable rocking chairs. The spa and pool area feature a swim up bar and three different temperatures depending on the amount of hot water from the naturally occurring springs. My wife... More

Me and some friends stayed here, It is pricey so we shared a room with 2 double beds. We felt it was a splurge that was worth it for a few nights Just for the Hot Spring pools alone and the gorgeous grounds and views. The breakfast buffet was good. But like some of the other reviews say, the rest... More

Our family of 5 stayed in large suite and it was huge! Outside shower, indoor jacuzZi, stocked bar. And when we missed a night due to snow they extended resort credit. Thank you for that. Staff was friendly and food was good Definitely recommended.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Good rooms, good breakfast and service. Staff are always welcoming and the wildlife is never to far away. Stayed there as a single traveller and was given a very good room and was treated well.

We are not usually "resort" people but we thoroughly enjoyed the 4 nights we stayed here in March. Our room was large and very comfortable and we loved sitting on the patio on our rocking chairs hearing and seeing the beautiful birds to-ing and fro-ing with the Arenal volcano right in front of us! Perfect! And the weather was so... More

The gardens, the birds, and obviously the hot springs are all a perfect combination for relaxation - throw in the volcano-view rocking chairs on the porch and you've got a nap. The room was large and the shower was lovely - plants off to one side and a skylight opening. The staff was great and our food - mass produced... More

We stayed at the Arenal Springs Resort and Spa in March 2013, and I have not been able to stop daydreaming about the incredible spa services. We were rained out off one of the tours we had planned in advance, so I treated our 8 year old and myself to a message. First off, let me say that my barre... More

We spent only one night but found this place lovely. The rooms are great, clean, fresh and with everything you need. Nice garden bathrooms as well. We spend the afternoon in the thermal pools and enjoyed the swim up bar. The staff are both very friendly and very helpful and went a long way to make our short stay pleasant.... More

Stayed here two nights during our tour, a great place to recharge your batteries. The accomodation is set out mainly in semi-detached bungalows. These have good size modern bedrooms with shower rooms. They all have a great view the the volcano (which fortunately could be clearly seen during our stay - even the summit). The bungalows are all set out... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. The room is very nice and the grounds are beautiful. We never saw the top of the volcano as it was covered in clouds. We were able to eat a dinner buffet which started at 6:30pm at the big restaurant on site for $20.00 US pp (includes taxes & 10%... More
