Beautiful, large property. The pool has a swim-up bar in the the hot springs (with sushi!). There is a farm on the property with horses you can pet. A nice touch are the little cabanas to relax in with a refreshments (we took refuge under one when it rained and was a highlight of our trip). Nice restaurants on site,... More

Totally amazing pools - and open late. Room was attached to another room (a sort of lodge/cabin arrangement) and were spacious with a lovely outside sitting area. Bathroom wasn't totally soundproofed from room next door (could hear talking/shower running but nothing else!) but not a huge problem and wouldn't stop me staying here. Breakfast was served in spacious, airy restaurant... More

Good hotel to explore arenal from and gave a quiet base to come back to. Pool and springs are lovely in sun or rain, rooms nice and clean and all have a view towards the volcano (if it's visible). Only problem in wet season is nowhere to dry clothes if you've been out all day, except paying for laundry service.... More

Third time in Arenal Springs, and it never fails to impress. This time we were given room 403. As usual the room was spotless, the bathroom was perfect, minibar well - stocked and a bottle of wine on the bed to celebrate our return. The breakfast was as good as I remembered, the staff were brilliant. There was however one... More

The staff is friendly and helpful and the grounds are beautiful. Hummingbirds can often be photographed feeding on the many flowers. The swimming areas are relaxing but the water temperature was lower than expected for a hot spring. There are several dining options on site with the expansive breakfast buffet the best value. The property is a $12 cab ride... More

Our family group of ten ranging in age from 75 to 7 returned recently from a dream trip to Costa Rica. As a grandparent I have observed that most children from teens to toddlers are easily bored and need their gadgets to get them through a drive to the grocery store. Our grandchildren are no exception which is why we... More

The natural hot springs were so relaxing and therapeutic. However, the "hot" water in the rooms (at the time of our visit) was supplied by this hot water and wasn't hot enough for me personally. Other than that one complaint this place is lovely. A little overpriced compared to other places we stayed in Costa Rica, but still lovely. We... More

This awesome resort has a well trained staff and is family friendly. Although it was my wife and I, there was lots of family's with young children. It was nice to swim up to the sushi bar and order drinks and sushi while lounging in the warm spring water. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. Everyone spoke enough... More

There is nothing special about this hotel. Rooms and decoration are outdated, airco makes quite some noice, so you have to shut it off when going to bed. Upon leaving the room the airco stops working ... Although the room is outdated, it was still kept very clean. The surroundings are ok, so is the thermal pool. The breakfast restaurant... More

Breakfast was awesome. Hot spring pools are pretty solid. Had great views of the volcano from our hotel room. There were a few kids there but definitely ok for our honeymoon. We didn't try the Spa services but it looked nice. The hotel will book you tours before you arrive. Do some investigating on Trip Advisor before to find some... More
