After checking in, we noticed the AC was not cooling as much as we would like. After having the AC checked, the manager offered a different room for us and our friends. We declined. Today the manager upgraded us and our friends to a master suite. The resort personnel is super and the grounds are immaculate. Definitely would stay here... More

This is a large property, all rooms at ground level and spread out over quite a large area. There are golf buggies which you can take from the main area to your room but if you need them good luck when you get to Monte Verde. The gounds are very pretty with a good variation of flowers and bushes and... More

High End Hotel with more hot spring pools than you can count. Rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, animal rescue zoo on hotel grounds. Best was horseback riding with Oscar and Martin through the jungle and galloping through the river. White water rafting, Volcano climbing and other activities off site available. Food is a bit expensive and no alternative is... More

Manicured resort with rooms spread about the grounds (looked a bit like a suburban housing estate). Golf cart to take you around if needed. Very good pool area with a swim up bar and hot springs as well as a very pleasant cold pool. Beautiful hummingbirds just outside our door. Every room has its own terrace and a good view... More

This is a stunning resort. The pictures don't do it justice. Most beautiful property I've seen--huge, gorgeous, at least twenty hot springs, a river, a jungle, palatial bathrooms. Not to be missed in a lifetime. Only hitch was our personal hotel guide Hairol offered to meet us in town one night and never showed up leaving us waiting for hours... More

This resort was a luxurious haven and the sort of place you really didn't need to leave on this brief four day visit. The room was very beautiful and looked out over the lush green countryside at the volcano-which remained illusion behind it's cloudy veil the entire visit. The Springs were extensive and worth sampling to the fullest extent. The... More

A great hotel - comfortable rooms and nice extras like cokes, beer and water in the fridge on day 1. Showers were excellent and really spa like. Coffee machine was really great for a coffee as i woke up and my 13 year old son loved the TV's with english chanels. The maids did outstanding sculptures with our towels -... More

Most rooms have a volcano view, but it's a rain forest area and the volcano makes it's own clouds so you need a little luck to see it. The hotel is a resort with lots of cabins. Ours - room 902 has I think one of the best views but steps, so disabled or kids need to be around the... More
