We stayed in the Toucan house and it was small but still a great experience. We loved having the open air shower, made it seem like you were right in the rain forest! Also loved that they brought coffee and tea to your balcony each morning to enjoy. Also the breakfasts were amazing plus the birds and animals coming around... More

We planned to spend two nights at this place. Basically everything was fine, the staff was very friendly and we had a nice breakfast. But, our treehouse was not far away from a main road that was used by large trucks and motorbikes. It was very very noisy during the day and during most of the night. That was not... More

Our family of 6 stayed in the Congo house and we had an amazing experience. We took a small hike to find the waterfall on the property, lots of fun! We also went on a guided night hike around the property and found many creatures to see.

First let me begin by saying that most of what you will read on here is very true. This property is about 25 minutes outside of LaFortuna. If you are looking to be near the Volcano, Hot Springs and other touristy stuff you won't be happy with the drive. If you are looking for a unique place, remote and close... More

We stayed for two nights in the sloth room, and I wish we had stayed longer! Our 18 year old niece stayed in the loft, and I think you have to be young to make the climb up and down the ladder. My one suggestion would be to install a pulley to get a suitcase up to the loft, it... More

We stayed two nights in the sloth tree house. Beds were comfortable and the tree house was very clean. I slept in the loft......felt a slight sway to the tree house when people below are moving. What stands out isn't the tree house, although it was very cool, is the first class service received as soon as we made our... More

We had an exceptional 6 night stay at the Tree Houses. We stayed in the Hummingbird tree house. The tree house was clean and comfortable, and we slept very well. The nearby truck and motorcycle noise was loud, but it didn’t diminish the enjoyment of staying here. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to the nature around us.... More

The Tree House Hotel was really amazing. We stayed there for 3 nights and would've like to stay there one more night. If we return to Costa Rica we will be planning on staying there again. Mark and Lucy, the couple who manage the property, really go out of their way to make your stay fabulous. My friend and I... More

This hotel not only provides an incredible lodging experience, but the best service in CR. The caretakers are Americans that start helping you before you even arrive. They suggest tours, transportation suggestions, and answer any questions you have. Once you arrive in Paradise, they greet you and give you a wonderful orientation, complete with descriptions of their private hiking paths, self-serve... More

Thank you so much for the wonderful words. We are fortunate to have a great staff working here with us and they take great pride in providing the best service in the region. Patricia, Seidy and Yania are constantly updating and tweaking the breakfast menu to appeal to all tastes and we change our breakfasts daily, so there is something... More
