We stayed here as a part of a student tour group. Although the views of Arenal were blocked by clouds, the sheer beauty of the grounds was stunning. Incredible landscaping and pretty pools. Rooms were generally adequate. Clean but a little musty. No wifi in the rooms. Good location in a beautiful part of Costa Rica.

Back in June, I stayed at this hotel again (my second time in the past 2 years) with a student educational travel company. The view is a spectacular one (when it's clear) and it is nearby the town of La Fortuna and the hot spring sites. My room was adequate, with working air conditioning and a warm shower. While nothing... More

The arenal volcano is breathtaking and this is the right hotel you have to go to see the best view of it.. I have been going to this hotel for years every year it's better. The cabins are very spacious and very comfortable and decorated with taste. The bathroom is large and hot water plentiful. They have two pools one... More

It is catastrophe. Unless you enjoy suffering , do not go there. Dirty, is a kind way of describing it. Motel 6 or 8 is five stars compare to it. Sheets stained , bath looks terrible. Room looks like no one touch it for a long time. Towels small and lowest quality. Terrible food. People are not bad. But the... More

Avoid this hotel We used to stay here all the time for many years. It was beautiful. Now for whatever reason, there are no computers in the lobby, no safes in the room, no hangers, no coffee maker, no glasses, only a breakfast buffet, you have to go into town if you want lunch or dinner. They used to have... More

+: clean rooms, volcano view -: no service by unmotivated staff, overloaded with groups of students (4 buses in 2 days), rooms without towels/wastebin/shampoo, WI-FI only at reception/Lot and sometimes weak at restaurant, boring breakfast which is the same everyday you have to pay at the checkin -> keep the receipt!!

This hotel have a good location between city La Fortuna and Arenal National park. We can not see Volcano because of bad weather. The grounds surrounding is really good, but same like in all Arenal region. Rooms is pretty good, but mildew all over bath! We have to wear flip flops to take shower. It's disgusting!

We were booked for two nights as part of a tour. The hotel has a hotel-style portion as well as individual cabins. We were in the hotel section. Our room was neat and clean. The matress was a little hard. The grounds surrounding the hotel are beautiful with many flowers and decorative plants. The restaurant is open open air and... More

I booked 2 rooms via Expedia at this hotel for the great rate and because of the amazing view of Volcan Arenal. We were in regular motel, type rooms but they have little, private cabinas that I wish I would have known about. The grounds are pretty with 2 pools and an included breakfast. They only thing we didn't love... More

Our stay was for two nights at this hotel. We were in the hotel type room vs the individual cabins. Our room was neat, clean and comfortable. We had a deck that overlooked a beautiful courtyard and pool. The only drawback to our room was an air conditioner that wasn't working at its best - this wasn't a big issue... More
