its a high quality hostel. we've stayed in a private room with bath. the room was big and clean, with an a/c. the hostel is full of flowers and trees, and even a small pool. its a good price for this beautiful hostel. breakfast is not included, but you can have it for 5$ i think. i can recommend this... they have reasonable price tours. (there are many street tour agencies but usually they are more expensive than the tours offered in the hostel.) Bathrooms and shower rooms are very clean as well. Their rooms are also nice, but the tent area is too loud until 2 am. I could not sleep well because of party music near the hostel.... More

The only thing that would make it perfect would be if it included breakfast and towels. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints. I stayed in the shared dorms. $15 per night is not a bad price at all, especially considering how big the rooms were and how clean it was. There's also really comfy mattresses, hot water, air... Since we already fled one of the weirdest B&B in La Fortuna (Cabinas Arsol) we were really happy to get a room at this resort. The staff was very helpful, but this turned out to be only when it was to their advantage. You can get advice on tours, but only the ones they offer. You can get a room,... More

We stayed in the tents, which were amazing, so lovely to wake up to the sounds of the rainforest. If only I could say I went to sleep to them too. The hostel my have a quiet time after 11 (or 10 or 9:30 depending what notice you read) but the nightclub over the road turns the noise up as... More

I have stayed at several hostels throughout CR and this is hands down the best one I have stayed at. The staff are very nice and friendly and is always available to assist you with any questions or tour bookings. I feel very safe and secure at this hostel, it is gated and all the rooms are locked with keys... More

Best hostel I've stayd at during my whole trip to Costa Rica! I felt like I was on a resort! The whole setup was amazing.. swimming pool, hammocks in trees, grass area. The rooms were just perfect, bed comfortable and clean! The crowd and vibe was great! The guy named Freddy at the front desk was very kind and helpful!... More

Had a great stay here! Had a tent with a double bed. That was really quite nice. And at $25 it was an unbeatable price. The pool is awesome! Feels like a resort! There are also plenty of hammocks to lounge around in. and the restaurant serves great food and drinks. It was also the only place I found a... More

After hearing such great reviews, we were very disappointed. The hostel is clean and well maintained, but the service was terrible. We were not given a tour or even shown to our tent, and felt like we were bothersome for asking where the bathrooms were, etc. I wouldn't recommend the tents. They are very close to one another and there... More

I've stayed in a lot of hostels in a lot of countries but this one stands out! I dont normally write reviews but I felt I had to because it was such a great experience. The staf was friendly and more than accommodating, even taking the time to cut down coconuts and make us drinks! (free of charge). The pool... More
