We only had one night at the resort, but wished we would have planned more. We didn't see the volcanoe because of clouds. The dinner at the restaurant was the best we had all week. Also, the staff we very helpful. I would recommend booking trips through them, because we got a better deal for the swinging bridges than if... More

We stayed here for only one night while travelling around Costa Rica. Wish we could have stayed longer. The property was beautiful, our room was great, the balcony opened up into the jungle, it was fantastic,

Lost Iguana is beautiful; the view from each room is the Volcano; but don't feel worth the high cost. We did a lot of activites from there and so had a great time. Of course the Volcano; best Zip line, Hanging Bridges, LA Fortuna Waterfall, Mineral Springs. The Saffari Raft trip wasn't worth the cost. Christmas Eve dinner was mandatory... More

I stayed here with my girlfriend over Valentines weekend and we really enjoyed our stay here. The grounds are beautiful and teeming with lush vegetation and an incredible diversity of birds. There are some nice hiking trails on the property that run next to a creek through a dense primary forest. We found the entire staff at reception, the restaraunt,... More

We absolutely loved Lost Iguana! We booked just a standard room, but it was more than adequate and had an amazing view of the volcano. When we arrived, the doors to the balcony were open and we were immediately in awe of the view. The wonderful bell hop who brought us up the hill and helped us with our bags... More

We had 2 rooms and stayed 2 nights. My wife and I had an upstairs room in La Fuenta and had a beautiful view of lush jungle and the volcano beyond. Too bad it rained most of the time and the peak was always shrouded in clouds. The room had a very nice balcony. It was a bit noisy. We... More

Enjoyed my stay at the resort. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Food is excellent and I understand the chef will be expanding the menu. If you want to get away and have a lovely restful vacation ,Costa Rica is the place to go. The Ticos are lovely people. . I did not feel like a stranger at all. Easy... More

We stayed here for part of the first week in February, 2010. It was me, my wife, and our 3 year old daughter. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous, and laid out such that each building feels like it is completely isolated in the jungle. The rooms are large and clean, the food is great, and the views are fantastic. The... More

I can't think of a single negative thing to say about Lost Iguana. After a long day of travel we were greeted with a shot of fresh fruit smoothie. Yum! We were then driven up to our room, which was enormous! Our room was very clean, comfortable and had an amazing view of the grounds all the way to the... More
