My wife and I had a wonderful time enjoying the rain forest, spa and all of the Lost Iguana amenities. Staying at the Lost Iguana Resort was just like being in Paradise. The staff caters to your needs and requests like angels. Our walks through the grounds were wonderful, enabling us to enjoy a wide variety of rain forest vegetation.... More

We wanted to stay away from all the tourist traffic and have a nice romantic few nights in the rain forest. Lost Iguana was perfect. Our suite had a front row view of Arenal. The swim-up bar was actually a giant hot tub. And every day there was some new flower or animal to fawn over. We absolutely LOVED everything... More

We rented a deluxe 2 bedroom suite which was plenty spacious for my husband and me, daughter, son-in-law and 2 small grandchildren. It was so peaceful sitting on the balcony drinking our coffee and looking at the volcano even in the rain. The grounds are so lush and peaceful. The breakfasts were great. I assume they must do a buffet... More

My husband and I absolutely loved♡ this hotel. This was our 1st trip to Costa Rica and we just can't wait to revisit this little piece of heaven on earth once again. We booked a suite and the room is very spacious, with an amazing view to the Arenal volcano(breathtaking to watch the sunrise with the volcano on the background), and... A wonderful resort. Sympathetically designed to blend in with the surrounding jungle. Accommodation very well spread out so it is great for privacy. Stunning views of the volcano. One of the the most evocative memories of the holiday was waking up at 5 in the morning and watching the sun rise over the volcano. A wild life spotters paradise. so... More

I cant say enough positives about this resort, everything I wanted to do was close ziplining, horse riding to waterfall, hanging bridges, also very relaxing and quiet back at resort only noise we heard were from all the wildlife. they had this wonderful warmwater pool just above normal one with a swim up bar, just great after a busy day... We (couple with two sons ages 13 and 16) spent four nights at the Lost Iguana. Rather than booking a villa, I booked a luxury suite and a standard room side by side so that all of us would have our own porch view of the volcano. These rooms were perfect for us. My husband and I felt like we... More

The Lost Iguana is tucked into the rain forest, near Lake Arenal and practically under the Arenal Volcano. We had a room on the bottom of two floors and every morning, I could take my cup of coffee out to the patio and hear the many birds calling to each other, watch a hummingbird visit the flowers and see the... We stayed three nights in a two-bedroom suit at the top/back of the resort. The room was large with pretty, slightly worn furnishings. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable and not enough seating. the bed was very comfortable and clean. We had a large, covered porch on the second floor with a jacuzzi, lots of rocking chairs and of course... More
