5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We loved our stay at Volcano Lodge. It is away from the main drag, so you really feel removed and relaxed. Our beautiful room had incredible views. It was so nice to have an outdoor patio where we could sit and play games, have coffee, bird watch. The grounds are beautiful. There is a small walking trail that goes down... More

This hotel/resort is wonderful. The staff was excellent. The grounds were beautiful. If you walk along the running path be sure to look up. We saw 3 toucans in the trees and a green parrot. The volcano view was spectacular. We went to the hot springs every night. So relaxing. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 5 nights at the recommendation of a Costa Rican travel agent. The staff - we found each and every person who came in contact with us to be friendly, helpful, and professional. The grounds are beautifully kept - you really feel like you are in the middle of paradise. Walking the running trails around the property... More

Great location, excellent food and service.. Pools were clean and pretty, jacuzzi was spectacular, specially at night. The volcano is highly visible from the rooms and from all hotel's areas. Absolutely recommended.

The property and grounds here are amazing and include the hot spring waterfall with the spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano. There are great hiking trails too. The rooms are not luxurious, but they have a nice back porch with the volcano view and beautiful, buzzing humming birds. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, but I had a little problem with... More

We spent 2 nights here and didn't see the top of the volcano unfortunately. The grounds & pool(s) area of this lodge are beautiful and I think this is a lovely quiet place to stay - close to La Fortuna and all of the attractions around this area. The breakfast buffet was similar to other breakfasts offered in Costa Rican... More

Good location close to Arenal. Very pretty grounds. Pools were nice and very clean. The room was nice with a great view. Average service and food in restaurant was average for being somewhat expensive.

Volcano Lodge and Springs is a nice hotel complex that may not appear luxurious, but has great service and nice amenities. The staff are helpful and if you ask for anything, they are quick to attend to your needs. We were delighted by the unexpected welcome package of snacks and beverages provided in our room at check-in, and each room... More

Decent pools, both warm and cool, but not even close to being as grand as Tobacon Springs or some of the other springs nearby. If what you are looking for is a comfortable, well-maintained room with a decent shower, in a peaceful location (nothing nearby but other resorts and hotels and springs), then this is a good place to stay....
