I just attended a conference held at this hot spring resort. The rooms are clean, simple and have air conditioning for hot or humid days. Because I was at a conference the food we had was not limited to what is usually served, what we had was very good and not just gallo pinto (rice and beans and beans and... More

This was my second trip here, my other friend has been many times and another friend their first. A good value for a large (though slightly dated) clean room, hot springs entrance and buffet breakfast. The hot springs are uncrowded as this resort is not near La Fortuna but near Aguas Zarcas, so it has a more local than tourist... More

With road construction, the hot springs were a good 3 hours from San Jose, but we were very glad we went. We went on a weekday and there were only a few other visitors. The pools vary in temperatures so there is one for everyone. There are lockers and changing rooms by the pools as well as a bar with... More

Our driver bought is here and we have stayed 3 nights. We have a bungalow which has a kitchen, two bedrooms, 2 baths and a fully stocked kitchen. Very comfortable. The grounds here are absolutely stunning and peaceful. Breakfast is included in our price which is a full buffet. Then after breakfast, Daniel, takes us to where the hot springs... More

We live in Costa Rica and, although this place is just 90 minutes from our home, it has taken us two years to make the trip. We should have done it sooner!!! Everything about Termales del Bosque appealed to us. The property is simply gorgeous and the location of the hot springs in the jungle is phenomenal. Going during rainy... More

These hot springs are beautiful. You walk about a quarter to half a mile into the forest preserve until you get to the stream. Along the stream are natural looking stone enclosed pools filled with different proportions of the hot spring water, so you can go from cold to hot, or hot to cold, as you choose. While you're floating... More

If you're trying to figure out how to stick in some hot springs without going to Arenal, and doing it on a budget, without sacrificing your desire to be submersed in nature but at the same time being right on a main road with easy access, meanwhile helping a local small/medium business, then this is the place for you. I... More

We got there at night after a long drive and being able to chill in the thermals right away was worth the whole trip. If you're looking for luxury and over-manicured landscapes this might not be your cup of tea, but for nature lovers it's a dream. Had some reasonably priced yummy juices which u can charge to the room.... More
