My husband and I stayed at Las Colinas for 5 nights as part of a 3 week stay in Costa Rica. The hotel is very well located in the town of La Fortuna which we found to be very quaint and friendly and a whole lot safer than San Jose - you felt completely safe wandering the town at night!... More

We arrived at Las Colinas with a tour bus and when stopping out front our fellow passengers said, "be careful, why are they dropping you off in this dark alley?". We checked in and were taken to a tiny room close to the street. We are from New York City and it was louder in the hotel room at Las... More

Good value accommodation with friendly and helpful staff in La Fortuna, which although being a tourist centre, still retains the charms of a small town. Good location close to bus station with good views (weather permitting) of Arenal Volcano.

The staff was very friendly. They spoke both English and Spanish and were happy to make all kinds of reservations for you on your various adventures. The breakfast included in the stay is hot and very filling. It's made to order. There is a beautiful view of the volcano from the terrace. The upper flour is shrouded in an orchid... More

I travel a lot in Costa Rica and other Latin American countries and Hotel Las Colinas is exactly what I look for. It is a thoroughly charming family run hotel that provides that extra attention that makes you feel at ease and comfortable in a new environment. I avoid the artificial and foreign feel of resorts that are also very... More

We booked for 3 nights (4 days) on-line from Canada with follow-up correspondence from Victor. There were no hitches. Upon arrival we found that the hotel was located downtown in La Fortuna. It was quiet at night but handy for downtown stores and restaurants during the day. We enjoyed the arts and crafts and excellent local dining. The hotel is... More

We stayed at Las Colinas for one night during our journey in Costa Rica. We liked the little town and the hotel, even though I wouldn't spend more than a couple of days in that location.
