Great little budget hotel right in the centre of town. Really helpful staff. Close to great restaurants and supermarket. What we didn't like, though was the noise. The hotel setup itself being an open atrium ment the noise carries alot. People also sit out on the main patio area so if u have a room on the second floor the... More

This hotel has rooms that open into open air common areas with pleasant seating areas and social spaces. The rooms are small but comfortable. We had trouble getting hot water and as in everywhere else in Costa Rica it seems, the toilets can barely handle the normal business you would do to them. The staff is fantastic! It is a... More

We loved this hotel. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed, including a nice breakfast to start our day. Most of the staff spoke english and were very helpful recommending restaurants and places to go sight see. They have an excellent massage therapist available right next door and it's wonderful after a long flight. There are a couple... More

We stayed at this hotel with my family. We all loved the great location in the town (near to stores, cafes, restaurants, and tour operators) and the outdoor sitting area in the second floor very relaxing. The room were clean, comfortable, and spacious. The staff was very friendly too. This hotel is ran by a local Tico family.

If the weather is good - the views of the volcano in this place are second to none. The staff speak perfect english and can help plan your trip, and the breakfast is delicious too. I'd definitely stay here again :)

I was part of a large group, and we took over most of the hotel. Our experiences by floor were very, very different. The front desk lady seemed overwhelmed with our group and just handed out keys so those who checked in later didn't know where their roommate was. It was chaotic. I originally got room 8 on the first... More

The downstairs rooms seem to all be what used to be shops - they still have shopfront style windows from a mall, as in huge windows and curtains that you can't quite close all the way. AC was great and the rooms were huge, food was nice too. Seemed to be very family friendly and had a very central feel... More

We stayed at this hotel from July 28 - July 31. When we checked in we were welcomed by Flor with a much needed drink as we had been on the road from San Jose for 2 1/2 hours. Flor told us that we were now on the 3rd floor as a big group was coming in and they needed... More
