We stayed for three nights in standard rooms which were well kept and comfortable. The large patio has a wonderful view of the Arenal volcano and is a very pleasant spot to sit and chat with other guests. The breakfast that was provided was fine and the soda across the street is one of the best I've found in Costa... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in a standard room, which was ok for the price. Breakfast was good. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful in booking tours, getting the most of our money and even offering better prices than the tour companies. We enjoyed our time and can definitely recommend this place!

The hotel was clean, but the bed lacked a mattress cover, which seems to be common in Costa Rica. Friendly staff. Good food in the cafeteria. Air conditioner worked great. Street noise was loud at night and rain was loud on metal roof. Nice terraza!

We visited this hotel in June 2015. We had a third floor room with a small balcony that looked over the Main Street with a side view of the Volcano. This hotel is very quaint and it is run by a local family. The service was great and the breakfast, which is included in the price, was perfect with traditional... More

We really enjoyed the view of the hotel, and the cooking staff was great. The meals were excellent, the rooms were clean and nice, the wifi was a little bit slow and the hot water was slightly lacking. They're very committed to being eco-friendly!

The hotel was well maintained. I stayed in the junior suite which had a Jacuzzi bath tub and a separate shower. I was on the second floor and when you step out of your room and onto the main lounge area you have the most amazing view of the volcano. The location is great if you would like stay in... More

Absolutely fantastic hotel. I can't recommend it enough. Now don't get your expectations off the chart based off this review. It still exists in reality, but just great service and value. It is in a great location in La Fortuna. However, if you're looking to stay further out, then there may be better options based on that criteria.

If you are looking for a base to explore the area, Las Colinas is for you. Eager, knowledgable, and helpful staff; wonderful & peaceful atmosphere on the terrace; large clean rooms; centrally located; plus the added extra fun of attempting to spy the tiny red frogs hiding under the leafy plants in the garden area. Folks usually head to Arenal... More

The location, the views, friendly staff, and prices makes this my favorite hotel in La Fortuna downtown. The hotel is conveniently located in La Fortuna downtown. From the hotel, we walked to many great restaurants, cafes, and stores located nearby. The view of the Arenal volcano from the hotel in a clear day is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are confortable,... More

This was a friendly hotel and our room was well appointed, clean and attractive. There is a nice eating area and a terrace with views of the Arenal Volcano. The Hotel is ideally situated just around the corner from the main street with restaurants and other shopping.
