Family-owned. Clean, basic, slightly modern, pleasant staff, in town, great views of the Arenal. There is a great soda and coffeehouse across the street. There's also a grocery store next door that has lockers. All you need.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Las Colinas for our honeymoon. It is a modest hotel but has a beautiful view of the volcano, lovely, peaceful terraces in the center of the hotel, and is conveniently located within walking distance of many bodegas, restaurants, and bars. The staff was exceptional and the free breakfast was amazing!! So delicious!! The juice... More

Clean room with air conditioning. Close to eating and shopping, but I wouldn't walk around at night time. Its about a mile to mile 1/2 to the waterfall, not a long walk but not a short one either. It's humid the closer you get, so make sure you have water.

Very good Hotel. Friendly staff, that speaks english well and helps where it can. Well equipped rooms with air conditioning.Nice view on Arenal Volcano. Because you are in town it is easy to find a nice restaurant. Good value for money.

This hotel is a converted indoor shopping mall. Rooms are quite spacious but poorly lit when the drapes are drawn. There are plenty of windows but they all open to the interior of the hotel and you are visible to all on both floors. Rooms were clean and appropriately outfitted. We had a little trouble no TV converter but they... More

We were four kids and three adults and were very please at Las Colinas. Staff was super. We has some funky first floor rooms (one had 6 beds and no closet) but worked well for us. Great location near the park, restaurants, stores and such. Not fancy by any measure but we would book there again for sure. A nice... More

We made late reservations for our Christmas/New Year Costa Rica vacation, and ended up with a room here. The hotel is in the town. So the location is great - you can walk out to the shops and restaurants. Lots of eating places are easily accessible. Its an average family-run hotel - but was clean and we never had any... More

Hotel is in the town. Good location for food and shopping. We booked late and ended up with a room on the 1st floor. All the rooms on this floor looked like interior store cubicles turned into rooms. No window to the outside. It was a big problem for a closet phobic person! I had to open curtain facing the... More

We stayed at Hotel Las Colinas for 2 nights in Dec 2015. The hotel is in a great location in La Fortuna. Easy access to restaurants, super markets, bank ATMs etc.The staff was very helpful. They gave us good recommendations, helped with pick-up and drop-offs and also let us use the reception area to store our baggage while we went... More

Came here with a G Adventures tour in Jan 2016. The location is great since it is in downtown La Fortuna. Great eating spots and photo spots close by. Everything is within walking distance. My room was very tiny with 1 double and 1 single bad crammed in there. The washroom was very small and felt crammed. There was no... More
