This place is located in the city of La Fortuna, close to Arenal vulcano. There are views to the vulcano, but usually most of it is hidden under clouds. This is a really nice place if you prefer to stay in the small town of La Fortuna, instead of the resorts in the area around. Staying in the city makes... More

Dear guest!! Thank you very much for your review!! As you mention our hotel is a family run bussiness located in La Fortuna downtown, great location to visit the touristic attractions of the area, our goal is to offer the best we can, that is why we offer a homemade breakfast every morning, our staff is our family and it... Booked this hotel based on review here on tripadvisor but it turned out to be a not so wise idea. The advertised spacious modern room was in fact a very small and basic room with no constant hot water supply, thin walls and doors (=read very noisy). Beware that every hotel you see on the booking options on TA it... More

We were so excited to get to Las Colinas in La Fortuna. It was our first stop in Costa Rica, and we were greeted with warmth and excitement from the family-run staff. Ivette, a part of the family run hotel, was sweet, toured us around the hotel, and showed us to our room right when we got there. We stayed... More

We spent 3 nights at Hotel Las Colinas. The room was clean, the breakfsat very tasty and the staff very friendly and helpful. We had a balcony, ac and refregerator. The hotel is situated in the middle of down town, close to everything that you need. Suggestions to the hotel: it would be good with a fire alarm and a... More

Hotel Las Colinas is situated in the main street of the Arenal town. There are some great bars and restaurants nearby. Arenal is more developed and touristy than other quieter, rural parts of Costa Rica and so can suit some people and not others. This hotel provides accommodation in a central part, with basic rooms but very helpful staff. It's... More

My family and I spent 2 nights at Las Colinas Hotel and we greatly enjoyed our stay. We had 2 rooms, which were pretty spacious for the cost. The breakfasts were good portions, and there are plenty of other eateries within walking distance. Note, the RainForest soda directly across the street has killer Beef Nachos. We were quite lucky and... More

We enjoyed the hotel. The best staff helpful and gave tips what to do. Don't forget to do tortillas in the morning with the staff. Can be a bit noisy on Fridays and Saturdays not a big problem after a day with activities for us... Good value for money.

This is a 2 part review. Part 1, the hotel. Centrally located in town. The park is right around the corner. There is a market with everything you need within 20ft of the front of the hotel. Two restaurants are right across the street (Soda Visquez & Rain Forest Café.) Plenty of souvenir shops scattered throughout the town. Like some... More

I stayed here during the low season so it wasn't crowded. But the room I got was right in the hallway that opens up to the rest of the hotel so there were always people walking in front of my room. I think it was room #10. It is also next to a crafts store. So it was a bit... More

Great little budget hotel right in the centre of town. Really helpful staff. Close to great restaurants and supermarket. What we didn't like, though was the noise. The hotel setup itself being an open atrium ment the noise carries alot. People also sit out on the main patio area so if u have a room on the second floor the... More
