This is quite a large hotel complex with a plethora of facilities for your entertainment - 3 pools and a jacuzzi, a sauna, a gym, tennis courts (outdoor and indoor) and a soccer field, horse stables and a butterfly garden. Rooms are in blocks with 1 up and 1 down. We had room 601, an upper room with a balcony... More

The very BEST cuisine we ran across in nine happy days in Costa Rica. The resort offers many activities from horseback riding to massages, the usual litany of resort stuff. The happy surprise was the food. We had been told "just order sea bass". The whole menu is quality but the sea bass dishes warrant high praise. There are about... More

Came here after the Monteverde lodge and gardens so everything got compared to them. The staff wasn't as warm and friendly here. The room setup was nice. We were able to arrange all of our belongings so they were organized and easy to use. The room was air conditioned which was greatly appreciated. We had a balcony that overlooked the... More

The hotel was basic with beautiful view of the river. The resort had convenient amenities such as laundry services, gym, spa services, courtyard, dining services, pool, jacuzzi, and lobby with wifi. Breakfast was excellent!! They have a breakfast buffet of typical costa rica breakfast as well as a choice of american breakfast. The restaurant has wonderful views of the resorts... More

This hotel is located right on the river, with lovely views of the banks and river. In the evening it is a hub of activity with the birds, iguanas, big lizards and lots of other wildlife. Make sure you request a room with a river view, as there are rooms with just a view of the parking area and back... More

Our family of four stayed at the Tilajari March 29 and 30, 2015. We appreciated the spacious room with 2 queen size beds. The bathroom had a large shower with hot water, Shampoo, conditioner, and hair dryer were supplied. There is AC and a ceiling fan. We had a nice porch facing the river. The hotel staff were a very... The family stayed 3 nights here while we were doing several activities in the area. It's a satisfactory hotel for sleeping at night....the rooms are okay and appropriately clean. it's not a high end room or bed, but the rooms were spacious, water was hot and walking around the property was nice. The restaurant no site was very convenient and... More

Stayed for three nights. Rooms were spacious and clean but could not get a good wifi signal (had to go to the restaurant for this). Our block was the furthest from the restaurant and amenities but the walk was very pleasant. Had a nice veranda but overlooked butterfly house - those with a river view had a much nicer view!... A large room, though a bit short on lighting. The rooms all have views over or open directly on to a lovely garden with an abundance of iguanas, birds and other wildlife e.g agoutis. The bird feeding station by the restaurant attracts many colourful species. There was even a crocodile in the river below. Food was good and staff helpful.... More
