My stay at Princesa De La Luna was one I'll never forget. The staff on site were the reason It was so memorable. The property features two waterfalls down a ravine that make for a great adventure for people who are ambitious and want to really experience something genuine. The food they cook is wonderful and they are always there... More

Highly recommend La Princesa de la Luna Eco Lodge. The lodge is about a 15 minute drive from the center of La Fortuna. Although it was hard to find, William helped us in getting there. The host and staff were polite and attentive to our group's needs. If you can go on the tour of the property. It was fun... More

The lodge is situated several Km outside of town, on a hilltop over looking the jungle with a view (allegedly) of the volcano. However, be advised during the rainy season the already steamy jungle becomes quite wet and cloudy. in fact, the clouds were so thick that for our entire seven day stay we never saw the volcano! The setting... More

I have too many good things to say about the place. In summary, it is located on a large private property, away from downtown and the hotels/lodges. You can get a nice rainforest walk/hike on the grounds, including a mud bath, swimming and waterfall views. The land is teeming with wildlife and the hosts are exceptional. William and wilmer (and... Yes! Say yes to the most wonderful experience. This is true Pura Vida. We love it here. The nature is amazing. The property is is so special. William, Wilma, Ana, and Jasmine made us feel so welcome. We truly felt their genuine spirit and how much they love the property and Costa Rica. One of the highlights of our trip... More

This was the highlight of our visit to La Fortuna. The hacienda is absolutely beautiful located in a lush jungle setting with waterfalls and mud baths. Our stay was peaceful, quiet and so relaxed. The staff was unbelievable and made us feel like family. I enjoyed nothing more than conversing with Willmar, Ana and Will. They went out of their... More

Our family of four stayed here for five nights and had a fabulous time! We shared a large family room with three beds and a bathroom, which was clean and comfortable, although the lighting at night could have been better. It opened onto a large, wonderful deck overlooking the tropical jungle surrounding the ecolodge, with a spectacular view of the... More

I came here to accomplish two things: relax/restore and have a jungle adventure. Both were achieved at Princesa de la Luna. The lodge is built right into the rainforest, with no walls except for the bedrooms. It is truly beautiful and serene. You are instantly treated like family, and the food is excellent. The property has two waterfalls, one of... More

We absolutely LOVED Princesa de la Luna! We are a family of 6 (kids ages 14, 12, 9 & 4) and everyone agreed that this was a highlight of our trip. William (the manager) was so kind and service oriented. He took us on what he called a "tour" but I would describe it more as an adventure (small scale... More

You will not find a more honest, caring, and authentic Costa Rican experience than the Princesa de la Luna. I am a teacher and took 6 children to La Fortuna. The place we were staying at there was not working for us, and we met William, the manager of la Princesa through a recommendation. We visited his Eco Lodge there... More
