My friend and I just stayed for 3 nights. It is unlike anywhere we have stayed before. It's remote so you will find peace and quiet if that is what you are looking for. It is off the beaten path so make sure that's what you are anticipating. It is a little difficult to find taxis that are willing to... More

We booked this Eco Lodge for two nights. Starting off things went well, my contact Jonathan Davies, responded promptly and answered all my questions. I read all the reviews and looked at all the pictures. I felt confident with our decision and couldn’t wait to stay here. We arrived to a deserted place. When we were finally welcomed, we were... We (2 adults, 17 & 20 Yr old) had the privilege of staying here for 3 nights. William and the family of staff were all so wonderful, friendly, knowledgable and welcoming hosts. The rooms are not 5 stars fancy but clean, comfortable and have everything you need. You are there for the grounds and beautiful scenery. The hike William offered... More

Sadly, we were only here for two nights before driving south. I was a bit nervous with my two year old son and the drop offs mostly because my son never walks or slows down. But, the longer we were there, the more I was able to relax. William and Willmar were exceptional hosts, providing amazing meals, fruit juices, guidance... More

Princesa de la Luna is an incredible eco lodge; we stayed in the cottage for 2 nights. The location is a peaceful, quiet setting and perfect for relaxation. Our room was clean, lots of towels, hot shower and comfortable beds. No need for air conditioning at the time we visited, the fan was sufficient with a nice breeze through the... More

Seven of us stayed at the Pineapple House (La Casa de Piña) on the property. Very comfortable for two nights, and provided a great home base in between activities in the area. Minimally furnished, but seven of us were able to hang out together either outside around the picnic table/hammock or in the living room. Wi-fi was a little spotty... More

Our family of 5 visited in Jan 2016. William welcomed us with a great home cooked meal. The food was so good here. We ventured off site to eat but each time we wished that we had just ate at there. If you're looking for a "hotel" type feel look elsewhere. If you want to experience Tico lifestyle and authentic... More

Beautiful convenient location & very helpful & friendly staff. We had 7 in our party (Including one grandmother & 2 teenagers) & stayed in the Pineapple House. The only reason it gets 4 stars is that the house was a bit rugged, but that is what I expected from an Eco-lodge after all. We arrived after 11:00pm in the pouring... More

We stayed at the Princesa de la Luna Eco Lodge in late November with our three children ages 7, 10 and 13 years. This was the best part of our trip! The hosts Will and William are the most welcoming people. They make you feel right at home. Our kids had a blast on the property tour walking through streams,... More
