The Springs has done an amazing job thinking of every possible way to make its guests comfortable. Rooms are huge with incredible attention to detail. Comfortable sitting areas, great beds, ipod docks, dvd players and the most spectacular views of the volcano! Each room has a totally private terrace with rocking chairs, hammocks, and hummingbird feeders. My kids loved the... More

This is one of the top hotels/resorts I have visited. The hotel is without a doubt over the top. Our room had an amazing view of the Arenal Volcano. Everything was perfect- waking up to the floor to ceiling window with an unobstructed view of the volcano and rain forest, the comfy bed, the spacious porch with table and chairs... More

We had the pleasure of spending a few days at The Springs during our Costa Rican vacation. Once you arrive at the main entrance after a very rough 6km unpaved road, you are whisked into a private resort that is completely over the top in most regards. This property seems like it is out Jurassic Park with the architectural design... More

We didn't stay at this hotel, but we bought a one-day pass to visit the hot springs and pools. It cost $40, which is less than half the day pass price of Tabacon Hot Springs. The place is like paradise. It's lush, there are tons of pools, some of which are nicely secluded, there are plenty of lounge chairs, the... More

So essentially to get back to Manuel Antonio for the beach for 5 days I agreed to also see another part of Costa Rica and decided the Northern Zone and Volcano would be cool-at least that's what it seemed to be by my research and yes I am so glad I did this First Costa Rica is truly diverse and... Like most places in CR their always seems to be Ticos who don't look at the big picture. I live here in CR. My mom came to visit. So here's how our stay went upon arrival we were greeted warmly. But as the tour of the hotel began we explained my mother does not walk around so good. The young... More

The Springs was over-the-top in size and opulence. The resort and its rooms are new, beautifully appointed, comfortable, and luxurious. The springs themselves are fabulous. We tried soaking in all of them and enjoyed turning our fingers into prunes with our long, comfy soaks. Because the hotel was not crowded, many of the pools were our own private haven for... More

The resort was incredible! So beautiful with it's amazing views of the steaming volcano. The hot springs were luxurious and quite private. The food was amazing. The beds and linens were sooooo comfortable and the rooms were very quiet. The staff was very friendly, especially in the beautiful spa. And not that there is any reason to leave the resort,... More

There may be other places that offer ' a paradise on earth' experience, but I think you would find it difficult if not impossible to find one that even comes close to the exquisite Springs. This is the most spectacular place and experience... nestled in the Rain Forest of Costa Rica with the powerful presence of the volcano watching over... More

My girlfriend and I just returned from the Springs resort this past weekend and I can not say how impressed I was with the place! From the moment you walk into the lobby you can see the amount of detail that was put into this resort. We were greeted with a welcome drink and given a private tour of the... More
