We visited this hotel for a full week earlier this month, and had a wonderful time. The room as very nice, with a great view of the volcano. The staff were well trained, polite and friendly. They had great advice about what to do in terms of hiking, tours, and bird watching. Overall it is a fantastic place for a... More

The hotel is awesome and the view is great! We were helped out of our car and told they will handle the luggage. Later that night I knowtist I was missing 60$ and could not find my hand held camera! The front door man was no help and they where clueless of what to do! For the price you pay... More

This is such a special place. The whole time their was like in a dream, exquisite rooms views of the volcano, surrounding valleys, flowers and plants everywere. Every one was so nice and friendly. The property is vast and breathtaking. We took a couple of day tours and our guides did everything to make these adventures excellent. I wish everyone could... More

My wife and I were excited to visit the Springs as the pictures online seem amazing. Once we got there, the views did not disappoint, although the service we recieved certainly did. After being directed to a check in area, we had to wait for 20 minutes and ask again before we were even talked to. You get the distinct... More

We stayed at this hotel on the night of February 10, 2012. It was the final hotel on our weeklong tour of Costa Rica and was supposed to be the Grand Finale to our 10-year anniversary trip and the first trip without the kids in 5 years. Obviously this hotel has an incredible name and reputation and has been rated... More

Arenal is covered in clouds when we arrive The Springs Resort & Spa. However, the grounds are immaculately manicured. Our adjoining rooms 320 & 319 open up to a great view of Arenal. The picture window frames the volcano beautifully. A large balcony with 2 hammocks, rocking chairs and a table is where we rest after a long day of... More

Beautiful property. The rooms are very large and private. We have traveled extensively to many nice places and I would put these rooms in the top 3. The only downfall of the resort was the food. Breakfast is great, lunch and snacks good. Dinner options are not too hot and the food is mediocre at best. We had better meals... More

Although the resort is very nicely done and the changing room is very nice (saw it in the evening) the hot springs are anything but hot. The "hottest" pool was not even as warm as a nice hot bath. Yuck! Hot springs are supposed to be hot! We had the buffet dinner and it was mediocre. Which was too bad... More

We stayed here for a few days during our honeymoon back in November and I have been meaning to write a review for a few months! This place is just awesome. We absolutely loved our Room...we had a full view of Mt Arenal and we spent a lot of time hanging out on our hammocks watching the humming birds, The... More

The Springs is a beautiful hotel, with really beautiful rooms that ALL have panoramic views of the looming Arenal Volcano. Rooms are the second nicest rooms I have stayed in ( topped only by Banyantree Mayakoba), and I am a fan of nice hotels. They are done floor to ceiling with custom jungle wood paneling, very high celings, a full... More
