We went to Costa Rica for our 25th anniversary. This resort tops all we have ever been too and we have done a lot of traveling. Staff was all so personable and congenial. Rooms are gorgeous and roomy. Our original room wasn't exactly what we wanted so they moved us to an even larger suite and gave us a great... More

My wife and I visited The Springs for five nights followed by the Peace Lodge for two nights (separate review for that resort, also incredible). There are so many great things about the resort, but for those trying to find the flaws, let me get them out of the way, since let's be real, no resort could be perfect for... More

My friends and I had an awesome experience stay at The Springs Resort and Spa. The staffs there were very friendly and accommodative. The hotel was in great condition, and it is only 3 years old. There are still ongoing projects around the property to improve the hotel. The view of the arenal volcano from the room was gorgeous. THere... More

There is a lot to do at the resort it is definitely worth the time to visit but would not stay there. The service and food were average. If I did this trip again I would stay the entire time at Nayarra Resort and come here to visit for the day.

I will not go into great detail as the last half dozen reviewers have said it all! This resort offers a self indulgent pampering getaway in a most enchanting, amazing setting. You can be as active as you like or just enjoy the spa, pools, and lounges. Yes, it rained, but not too much and who cares? We took the... More

The Springs Resort & Spa is easily one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Our room was spacious and had a gorgeous view of the volcano (I think it's guaranteed), and even had a nectar pot to attract the hummingbirds. The hot springs were perfect after a long day of activities. The concierge and his staff were excellent... More

This was one of the best family vacations we have ever taken. My boys were eight. If you are looking for a smaller hotel with all of luxuries of a grand hotel this is the place for you. The rooms are amazing. Each morning we awoke to turkey vultures soring over treetops below the arenal volcano. The rooms were beyond... More

Although we wanted to eventually have some beach-and-whale-watching time while in Costa Rica, we decided to start inland at the Volcano. And why not the preeminent resort at the largest volcano? Our plans were booked with Eric at Anywhere Costa Rica (http://www.anywherecostarica.com -- Highly recommended!), and we asked him to arrange all of our transport between our destinations, as well.... We just returned from our first trip to The Springs Resort and Spa. We will definitely be going back! The resort is beautiful, the views breathtaking, the rooms luxurious and spotless. The staff was friendly and helpful and there is so much to do on the property and in the area. We went white water kayaking, hiking in the rainforest and... More
