Although the resort is very nicely done and the changing room is very nice (saw it in the evening) the hot springs are anything but hot. The "hottest" pool was not even as warm as a nice hot bath. Yuck! Hot springs are supposed to be hot! We had the buffet dinner and it was mediocre. Which was too bad... More

We stayed here for a few days during our honeymoon back in November and I have been meaning to write a review for a few months! This place is just awesome. We absolutely loved our Room...we had a full view of Mt Arenal and we spent a lot of time hanging out on our hammocks watching the humming birds, The... More

The Springs is a beautiful hotel, with really beautiful rooms that ALL have panoramic views of the looming Arenal Volcano. Rooms are the second nicest rooms I have stayed in ( topped only by Banyantree Mayakoba), and I am a fan of nice hotels. They are done floor to ceiling with custom jungle wood paneling, very high celings, a full... More

We travelled with friends to this resort and enjoyed the experience. Highlights were the springs of course although only a few were warm enough to be consided a jacuzzi temp but all were situated in beautiful lush surroundings. Best part about louging at the springs was that there was a tiki hut bar where you could refresh your cocktail, worst... More

We'd stayed at the Peace Lodge in the Poa Volcano area so were eager to see The Springs. Unfortuntely, we'd paid for non-refundable lodging at another hotel, so we went for dinner and were treated to a delicious meal in a to-die-for hotel. Five star in the USA and a total surprise in the La Fortuna area. Accessed via a... More

They offer a great two day special...only problem is that we had only one day to enoy the springs. Wish we had longer or that they offered a deal for just one day visitors. Food was tasty but also a bit expensive. Nice location and ambiance. Very snazzy. More

We stayed here for 3 nights and wow! The place is just gorgeous and the views are extraordinary. We were lucky to catch sight of the volcano many times. The pools are plentiful and never a crowd. We had a great time watching the Giants football game at the swim up pool bar. After experiencing cool and foggy weather the... More

This place is ridiculous! Stayed 2 days down the road and loved it. Decided to splurge last night there and stayed here. Big mistake. Place run by young men with "tudes" as my daughter would say. After being "shown" around went to our $450+ room and had workmen working on it. Ok, breathe, next put on swim suit and trekked... More

We didn't stay here but purchased a hot pools pass for $40 each. This is much better value than the more famous springs in the vicinity. The pools are numerous and uncrowded, and there is a waterslide in one of the lower set of pools, which is great fun for all the family. The pass is good for two days,... More
