Yes my friends this trip had to be perfect. On 4/28/15, I celebrated my 28 wedding anniversary, my oldest daughter will be leaving this August for the university of her choice , my youngest daughter has excelled in her 1st yr.of high school. Thank you Springs Resort and Spa CR. because of you it was a total success! If 6... More

The Springs was a little Oasis that I really didn't expect. We were guests for a wedding that was held there so we didn't shop around between resorts, but we spent 4 days at the Westin Conchal at the coast and 3 days at the Springs. The visit at the Springs was amazing. There was a ton to do with... More

I recently stayed at The Springs on a trip to Costa Rica. I chose it in large part because of the glowing reviews on Tripadvisor and I have to say I was somewhat disappointed. My previous experience has been that anyplace where they slap a plastic wristband on you at check-in is a place where you will be treated like... More

Our family of three stayed here for four nights in March. This was as close to perfect as a vacation stay has ever been for our family. First off, as enormous as this property is, there are fewer than 50 guest rooms, so it feels very exclusive and private. Nothing was ever crowded, but we did "run into" the same... More

I stayed here for several nights while on my honeymoon. The place is a dream. Gorgeous property; amazing views of Mt. Arenal; excellent dining; plenty of activities; a fantastic spa; highly-professional, excellent staff; awesome, super comfortable rooms with great balconies and mountain views. Its somewhat secluded, but its amazing peaceful. Though secluded, its easy enough to get out of their... More

I went there with my family and personally I think that was one of the best resorts I've ever been to. It has lots of activities to choose from and if you don't want to be all over the place, the hot springs are very nice. Three of the best things about the resort were the horseback riding tours, river... More

We visited with the two-day $60 Day Pass, coming for a few hours over two days. This place apparently opened in 2008 (my last visit to the area was in 2005 when it was a sleepy town), and it is a vast, landscaped property unto itself. Be aware that it is "The Springs Resort and Spa," and that it is... More

The Springs resort was beyond our expectations. We knew it would be beautiful from all the reviews but were worried as we want on the week of Semana Santa. There was no need to worry. While the property may have been fully booked, it was never crowded. There was always a spring or pool that we had all to ourselves.... More

Highlight of our trip to La Fortuna area. Beautifully maintained grounds. The views from the main hotel lobby are incredible. We toured the small animal enclosures and found the guides to be interesting and made the visit personal and up-close.

Ten things about The Springs: 1. The property is about 15 minutes from the town of La Fortuna, but you won't have to worry about getting into town, as there is not much there. If you want to, cabs are about $20 each way. 2. Every room except for room 417 has a view of the volcano. The way the... More
