never had such a tasteless chinese dish so far. adding some more soy sauce made it possible to eat. woul not go there again. when mentioning the low level of the food, the waitress barely reacted at all...there was only a quick "ok".

I will never ever visit this place again, the Chinese girl treated me like she did not care if I stayed or not. I went to the restaurant and the same girl (she's the owner) gave me the worst service ever. I told her she was treating me like if my money was not valued, and she just simply did... More

Having eaten lots of meat, rice, beans and plantain, we decided we need more veggies so we figured Chinese food would do the trick. Being the only ones in there should have been the first clue, but your not spoiled for choice for Asian food in LF. Now I cannot pinpoint the exact food that, has had me down with... More

For the $40 dollars the value was average. The downside was that it is on a very busy road that heads out of town towards Vulcan Arenal, and the windows were a Jalousie type and provided no noise reduction come 6 AM. On the positive side the large bathroom and HOT water was a luxury after a couple of days... More

We had originally arranged to stay at the backpackers hostel across the street, but we didn't make it to town until 8 pm and so our reservation there was cancelled. The backpackers hostel helped us arrange a stay at the Pura Vida hotel, where we stayed for two nights. The room smelled very strongly of cheap chemical cleaner which gave... More

We were placed here for one night as our original hotel was fully booked. as we had been travelling all day the bed was much welcomed. the shower is hot and quite powerful, and the bed was comfortable enough. we ate at the restaurant below and the portion sizes are very generous and good value for money. only downside is... The hotel seems to be renovated not long ago. Our room was spotless with big bathroom and hot shower, wifi, tv, ac. Very good price, breakfast not included. We have pay 35 $ for double room. We had a dinner here, it was huge porcion of chinese vegetarian food.

We stayed 3 nights and enjoyed a really comfy and clean room. The shower was just perfect! and for a correct price. The only thing is that the reception is not opened all the time... so you have to be lucky to be able to ask something special to the owner.

Stayed two nights at end Oct here. Room was clean, with TV, AC, free Wifi, private bathroom and reasonably priced. Got a room for just paying a bit more of a dorm bed. Some tour price was really competitive when compare with others agencies in downtown.

Can't comment on their rooms, but I had lunch there, as the restaurant was situated right opposite from where I stayed. It was possibly the worst Chinese food I've ever had anywhere (the best thing I could say about it is that it took them about three minutes to "prepare" it). When in addition to what was already way overpriced... More
