Wow- a tropical pleasure in the middle of the city, close to airport. Emmanuel and staff were very accommodating. Family run business and meet most, including the Father. Dinner was staged outside among palms and orchids. Dinner was great, we ordered another steak to split. Breakfast was put out, self serve style, bread, fruit, with delicious blackberry juice. Rooms were... More

These folks were very friendly and picked us up at the airport. The dinner and breakfast were fine. The rooms were unremarkable but clean. The pool was smaller than in pictures but clean and nice. The neighborhood is uninspiring, but not unsafe I dont think, just not appealing to take a walk in. Good place for stop over though. Dinner... More

Hotel Robledal staff provided stellar service. Manuel and Joseph were so personable and made us feel so welcome. We were in room 11 for one night--second floor overlooking the pool and toward the restaurant area--nice views of the landscaping and birds. We stayed here on our last night in CR before heading home to the US so the hotel shuttle... More

We stayed here our first night in Costa Rica. We arrived with our 3 young children at 10:00 pm and it was nice to already have someone picking us up for free. The free breakfast was good but nothing special. The staff was very friendly, even taking us on a midnight tour of the gardens to look for wildlife since... More

I am very fortunate to have met Emmanuel, Josue and Lorenzo Guzman and to have had the experience at Robledal. The room was just what I needed after a bumpy flight from the US. Nice comfortable bed, ac and hot shower (soap, shampoo, conditioner supplied), hair dryer, free in-room wi-fi and flat screen TV with many channels to choose from.... More

We spent our first night in Costa Rica here. Staff picked us up at the airport. It was middle of the afternoon and we hadn't had lunch. The kitchen at Hotel Robledal prepared a great meal for us - our first casados of the trip. The hotel grounds are beautiful. Our room, however, was tiny. It was very cramped for... More

Hello Afreil, Thank you for taking the time and provide this excellent feedback to us! We probably had the hotel all booked for the night you stayed as we mostly provide larger rooms for families with 3-4 people. We are sorry that this and the wifi connection were the downsides on your visit. We are getting new routers so all... More

great location. awesome service. and everyone is nice. Amazingly nice. They picked us up at the airport, waiting there with a sign with our name on it. they drove us to a local restaurant and back. The breakfast in the morning was perfect. They literally could not have been more friendly. just loved it here.

Upon arrival, we discovered the hotel does not offer free shuttle service to accommodate all flights on the website. (Although they did have a cab ready for us early in the morning). The wi-fi was out of service, pool and hot tub were empty, and you cannot leave the hotel grounds without asking the staff to unlock the gate for... More

When we travel out of the country we don't like staying in large hotels. Three brothers own this small, friendly hotel that is surrounded by tropical trees and flowers. Outdoor dining made us feel like we were in the country even though we were close to the airport. Since there is nowhere to walk to and we didn't have our... More

Dear Kobe43, Thank you for your good comments! We appreciate when our guests take some time to write about their stay with us, that way we use feedback to improve our service. There are some little shops (grocery store, clothing, bakery, pizza place,"sodas" etc) walking distance, in our community. Only that they are around 700 mts from the hotel so... More
