Excellent service, very nice staff, lovely food and great grounds. We walked their trail to the waterfalls with our children (6&8) and had a swim there, which was very nice.

We spent an extraordinary long weekend there 12 years ago and returned a few months later because of the exceptional service and unbelieable natural beauty. We have travelled the world since and finally came "HOME" Nov.14th!! With our travel budget cut by 75% due to the economy I used the Luxury Link website to book and was treated like a princess... More

We spent the first and last night of our Costa Rica honeymoon at Xandari as our home base to the main airport in San Jose. The staff was very responsive and helpful in arranging reasonably priced airport shuttles, and we had great service in the restaurant for both breakfast (complimentary!) and dinner as well. The rooms are very colorful, and... More

Our stay at Xandari was absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. They truly worked to please the guests. As a result of their effort, the quality of service was unbelievable and really made our trip enjoyable. The resort was in the rainforest and overlooked the city of Alajuela. The view alone was worth every penny. We... More

We stayed one night as treat during our stay in Costa Rica and this hotel was amazing! Fresh smoothies on arrival, friendly staff, FANTASTIC food (the freshest and best we tasted our whole time in Costa Rica). The rooms are amazing. the decorations and lines make it such a unique place to stay. The pools are beautiful and we were... More

We read that this was a great place to stay on our way to the airport. So we stayed one night before our flight. We regret it. It's such a great place and we felt that we missed a lot of what it has to offer. During our stay though we enjoyed good food, friendly service, a reasonable price and... More

ARRIVING: Leaving Rancho Pacifico, and on the road—GPS in hand—on a Saturday, the drive to Xandari took about 3.5 hours. This could have been shorter if we returned as we came, but we decided to return to San Jose via Highway 2. ACCOMODATIONS: We stayed in an Ultra Plus Villa, which included multiple, meticulously decorated rooms, garden style bathrooms and... More

We didn't stay here, we were next door at the tacacori ecolodge, but came for lunch and dinner. It's reasonably priced and the food is good (not great) and they have excellent mixed drinks. Service was friendly and efficient and the view from the dining patio is spectacular. We walked to the waterfall and enjoyed the grounds. If our budget... More

We spent the first couple of nights in Costa Rica at Xandari resort. It is a beautiful and peacful place. We loved the architecture, the individual bonglows (I am not sure what you call them, they were not bunglows, but each were build separate from the others, very private, with fantas tic views, private balconies.) We loved the place. The... More

This gorgeous place is up in the hills and it's only 70 degrees and there's a breeze, it felt almost chilly after 4 days in the hot, humid Osa Peninsula. If you want to lay by the pool go with a hotel in San Jose. A bit expensive - this was a splurge after our strenuous backpacking trip. The rooms... More
