This would be an absolutely lovely spot for a wedding or wedding reception. The pool area is lovely, the grounds and little main building are picture perfect, and guests would have adjacent rooms to enjoy after the main event. But as a hotel, I kind of don't see it. We stayed here for one night two nights ago, on our... More

Dear Elbodans, We are glad to hear that, although we failed in three areas, that you would return to the hotel. The reception staff usually arrive on time at 6 30, but it sounds like someone was late. In December we will expand, open the deluxe rooms and also have an admin staff on 24 / 7. The hot water... This hotel is a little hard to find but totally worth it. What a cute trendy place with a lot to offer. We only stayed 1 night and didn't use many amenities but I would have stayed longer if I could. I'm only giving 4 stars because there was no hot or even warm water for AM shower.

Dear Ashley, We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay and would have stayed longer! We are also very sorry about the cold shower. We are keeping an eye on the system - all rooms should have hot water and that was an amenity that you should not have missed during your short stay. More

My family stayed here from 05/29/15 thru 06/01/15 for my daughter's destination wedding in Costa Rica. This place is a hidden gem! The managers Sara and Pablo were always available and accommodating during our stay. Also we fell in love with Thomas and Andreas who served our meals and were so friendly warm and knowledgeable with all our questions and... More

Very clean rooms with comfortable beds and clean facilities, staff very friendly and helpful, property was beautiful. There were nice areas to sit and eat outside by the pool. There were lots of flowers and trees so that it didnt really feel like being in a city. The property is apparently very secure... the guy at the gate had a... More

We (2 adults, 2 teenagers) booked this hotel on our journey in february. Nice, clean, spacious rooms, lovely bar. We felt welcome and would recommend this small hotel for everyone, who likes to be near the airport and near to volcano poas.

Clean, older boutique hotel. We had standard room. Basic, but clean with a good working A/C, ceiling fan, & safe. Very nice/large pool area. Good drinks at the bar with reasonable prices. Good breakfast which was was included in the price. Only complaint- the showers needs some work as it was very hard to control the temperature.

Very quiet and spacious place, very sunny, with a nice pool and beautiful gardens. The quality of the cuisine is unique in the country. We went to the kitchen to tell the cooking girl ( very charming young person) that we loved all her plates. The waiter Thomas is a first class person, very attentive, fast, efficient and with a good... Room was very basic yet comfortable. The pool area is great, you are able to sit by the pool and have dinner. Good food, very attentive staff. Ground are well kept and constantly groomed. A downside is that this palce is very hard to find.

Thank you for sharing your opinion...and we are happy that you found us! With a little more time we hope that the taxi drivers all know who we are. This wonderful boutique hotel is located on the slopes of the Poas Volcano, a short drive from the airport ( Not an airport hotel though as such ). It is unbelievably well decorated, both elegant and casual at the same time. Luxury but not tacky or over the top, plain but not minimalistic. The staff is very friendly, and the... More

We stayed with my partner for one stay upon arrival in Costa Rica. We arrived late and the welcome was really good. The room was nice, clean. The bed really comfortable. Good breakfast and extremely nice swimming pool. Really nice staff. I would strongly recommend the place.
