The title about says it. Very nice place with a friendly owner who cares about guest happiness and comfort. GoogleMap found it just fine by entering Calle La Loma, Alajuela or they will pick you up at the airport. I'll be back. Oh, and I like the tile work!

Jody's place is the perfect start (and return) to Costa Rica. If your plane gets in too late to drive anywhere before it gets dark, staying with Jody at Casa Marin is a great option! We didn't feel like driving another 5 hours after nearly 12 hours of plane travel. We decided to spend the night near the airport and... More

My wife and I just returned from a 9 day trip to Costa Rica. Our first afternoon and night we stayed at the Casa Marin. We trusted prior reviews and wanted something near the airport (we were flying out by Nature Air the next morning) and at a reasonable cost. Things couldn't have gone more smoothly. We were picked up... More

Casa Marin is an amazing B&B that anyone visiting Costa Rica should consider. The reviews are all justified and we are so delighted that we picked here for our first and last night. The warmth of the welcome we received and the way Jody made us feel like friends straight away added to our whole experience. Jody picked us up... More

My husband and I just returned from a vacation in Costa Rica and stayed at Casa Marin on our first and last nights. Casa Marin is comfortable and extremely welcoming, a great place to start and end a vacation since it is so close to the airport. Jody treated us with warmth and friendship as soon as her smile greeted... More

Casa Marin is lovely. The glowing reviews are fully justified! I stayed in the dolphin room- it was big, clean and beautifully decorated. There's everything you need and the shower was great. Swimming pool was refreshing and swallows and dragonflies were playing overhead. You can watch the planes too, but there weren't that many. The place is a bit out... More

Casa Marin is an excellent BB near the San Jose airport and the owner Jody goes above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay. Jody and her team picked us up and dropped us off at the airport for no extra charge. Jody also took us to town so we could get lunch and some groceries. Jody is also... More

As other reviewers have also said, it was wonderful to stay at Casa Marin for our first night in Costa Rica. Jody met us at the airport, and after a quick 10min or so drive we were at her home in Alajuela. My 2 children were straight into the pool and were happily swimming. We stayed in the largest room... My stay here could not have been more perfect. I stayed on the night of my arrival to and the evening of my departure from Costa Rica. Jody and Wilson welcomed me with sincere pleasure and kindness and provided all transportation to/from my flights. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and spacious. I slept incredibly well both nights and coming... More

My family stayed here on the first and last nights of our 2 week vacation in Costa Rica. Jody is amazing. She picked us up from the airport, made an incredible breakfast and helped us organize a car rental. She welcomed us back after our two week adventure, took us to pick up some take out for dinner, helped us... More
