Jody personally came to the airport with her driver Julio to pick us up. She made us feel at ease right away, as we had never been to Costa Rica. The room was large and comfortable and there was even beer, water and sodas in the fridge which we gladly enjoyed. The pool and sundeck was so relaxing and Jody... More

Thank you so much for your review. I feel fortunate to have had excellent guests from so many countries. The B&B is small, but the beauty of that is it is more personable and I feel as the owner personally responible for the guests.. To get off on a good start when arriving to a new country is very necessary... More

It was such a relief to find Jody's assistant, waiting patiently outside the airport waiting for us after a long day of travel. This was our first trip to Costa Rica and knowing we would be met and then discovering how well taken care of we felt at Jody's B&B. We had an early a.m. flight the next morning and Jody... More

I wish we could have spent more time at Casa Marin. It is such a beautiful place. But more than that, we felt more like house guests, than patrons at this B&B. Jody went well above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel comfortable and cared for. She waited for our bus to arrive, ensured we were... More

Thank you for your comments and so appreciate you taking the time to write. I am happy the travel by bus worked out so well and went smoothly. It was great spending time with you both and hearing about your travel plans. Fortunately, most tourists have an amazing time in this country, which makes my work here fulfilling. Do come... More

I cannot say enough about our stay at Casa Marin. Jody went so far out of her way to make us feel special and well taken care of. From my first communication with Jody I knew this was going to be the perfect landing and launching spot for our adventures in Costa Rica and she did not disappoint. Jody picked... More

My husband, 7-year-old daughter and I stayed at Casa Marin for one night after arriving in San Jose. Jody arranged for a driver to pick us up and it was so nice to not worry about transportation after our long journey. Casa Marin was only about 10 min from the airport - so convenient! We arrived pretty late in the... More

We stayed with Jody for one night on our way back home from Costa Rica. We were supposed to also stay the night we flew in, but United messed that up with a cancelled and rerouted flight. Jody didn't charge us for the cancellation, although it was last minute. She is a wonderful person to chat with and goes out... More

We stayed with Jody on our first and last night of a two week trip. I am so glad we picked this place as it is just a few minutes from the airport and we were collected on arrival and dropped off for our departure. It was lovely to be greeted by someone so friendly on arrival in a new... More

Jodi is wonderful and so knowledgeable about different parts of Costa Rica and how to get around; I only wish I had asked her more questions before I arrived! It's a little tricky to find if you're driving, but once you do, the Casa Marin guest house is just lovely, with colorful mosaics and a relaxed atmosphere. It's a short... More

Stayed at Casa Marin the first and last day of a 12 day CR trip and it could not have been a better choice. Jody and Wilson are great people and very accommodating. On our first night I asked if they could call us a cab and if they had a restaurant recommendation. Instead, Wilson brought us out for dinner... More

We stayed at Casa Marin just a few days ago for a couple of nights. We stayed in the dolphin room and it was really nice and comfy beds! It was right off the pool which was refreshing on a hot day. The best part of staying there was Jody the owner she is fantastic and very helpful and friendly.... More
