I wish there were a 10! The BEST experience! I was a bit nervous booking this because we had never been to Costa Rica. Our flight arrived late, 9:30 p.m., and I was hesitant, but after reading all of the reviews I decided to go for it. I am so GLAD I did. Waking up in their beautiful cottage, looking... More

My flight was delayed and I had a 2 hour late arrival after a long journey but Patrick was there to welcome me warmly and bring me to the Lodge without issue. I needed rest and found this to be the perfect place to acclimatise and relax - it was quiet, in lush nature and has nice, clean and spacious... More

This lodge is run by a lovely French couple, we only got to meet Patrick as his wife was away. Despite having his own emergencies when we arrived, he still was the perfect host. We got the Hello Goodbye package and also hired a car from Patrick (the proprietor). He was a very attentive host and recommended some great places... More

One of the very best place we have stayed. Beautiful place, great people, great service, amazing breakfast, and lovely dogs. I reccomend Tacacori to anyone visiting Costa Rica, a must to stay on arrival and departure as close to the airport of San Jose.

We had a great time staying at Tacacori. We stayed there for two nights upon arrival in Costa Rica and it was very relaxing and absolutely wonderful! Patrick was very kind and picked us up at the airport - we were late coming out, but he kindly waited. Our Casita was cozy, private, and very tranquil. We spent a lot... More

This was our first stop in Costa Rica. Our flight into SJO arrived about 9pm, so Patrick arranged for a driver (for a fee) to pick us up from the airport— only 15 minutes away. Patrick and his wife are wonderful hosts and we awoke to a gorgeous place and a lovely breakfast on the patio. We had previously emailed... More

We stayed here for one night at the end of a trip with two octogenarians and my brother -in-law. The casitas were clean and neat with a decorative bathroom . The casita's do have an electric kettle available for use, interestingly only instant coffee was available along with tea bags. The grounds were as described, but limited for walking or... More

We came to Tacacori Ecolodge on the last day of our trip to Costa Rica, and were made to feel welcome even though we were early. Once we were there we didn't want to leave--the grounds are lush and full with flowering bushes and trees and birds and birdsong. We had spent two nights in an expensive hotel in San... More

We arrived at 1 am to a friendly greeting and lovely accommodations. Tacacori is on a sloping hillside overlooking a valley. But all you can really see is the beauty of the lush gardens full of flowers, fruits and many different birds. Each room is a separate casita, with modern plumbing fixtures and led lighting. Beds are comfortable and everything... More

We stayed at the Tacacori Eco Lodge for two nights in January and one night in February at the end with their hello-goodbye package. We also arranged our car hire through them, and transport to the Lodge from the airport. All the arrangements worked very smoothly. The car, from Thrifty, was delivered to the Lodge shortly after we had settled... More
