We stayed one night at the start and end of our trip - it is a 15 min drive from the airport but still allows you to feel immersed in the jungle. I know it is an ecolodge, and bugs are to be expected. The first night the room had no bugs, but when we returned for the second night,... More

We stayed at Tacacori for the first and last night of our trip to Costa Rica, the hello goodbye package worked out great for us! Conveniently located a short taxi ride from the airport, even though it feels very secluded from the city. We stayed in two different casitas, both beautifully decorated. Luxurious showers! The gardens are incredibly beautiful, full... More

we spent one night at Tacacori at the end of our trip in Costa Rica. Patrick made up the Casitas to accommodate our 2 families - they even made bunk beds for our friend 2 kids. We walked to Xandari for dinner on their recommendation - a way to see this lovely resort without having to stay there. Nadine drove... More

We stayed at Tacacori at the beginning and end of our 4 week tour of Costa Rica. On each occasion we were warmly welcomed by excellent hosts Patrick and Nadine. The accommodation is superb in beautiful landscaped gardens with a wealth of bird and plant life, and each day we were treated to a delicious breakfast of fresh local fruit... More

We stayed at Tacacori for two nights. It is a very nice, luxurious place with a beautiful garden - the nicest garden we saw during a one-month holiday staying at 16 different lodges. There are only 4 (or 5?) houses (casita's), so it is a quite small B&B. With a lot of privacy, as you have your own house. Nicely... More

My family and I stayed at Tacacori EcoLodge in March! It was our first stop adn last one due to its close location to the airport. Patrick kindly picked us up from the airport and drove us to the lodge. We didn't know what to expect. When the gate opened it was like a private rainforest in a fairytale. Their... More

We stayed here to break up our drive between coasts. The garden was beautiful, breakfast was good, and the owners were very nice and hospitable. The only complaint I had was that there were A LOT of ants in our room. We were used to some bugs and expected some anywhere in Costa Rica, but nowhere else did we have... More

My family stayed here 2 nights. I chose it based on the great reviews on trip advisor. It very much lived up to expectations and more. It was our first 2 nights in Costa Rica. We were in awe of the beauty of the gardens. Its amazing how you enter through their gate from a very busy town and street,... More

We flew into San Jose and needed a place to stay one night before driving to Arenal. This is a hidden-gem. The location is close to the airport but the setting makes you feel like you're in another world. It was just what we needed after our early morning flight. This hotel is within walking distance to Xandria so we... More

I'd have given a 3.5 rating if it was possible, but I didn't feel right giving a 3. We stayed at Tacacori the last 2 nights of our Costa Rica trip. It's a very beautiful place with simple, comfortable accommodations. The proprietors are nice folks and are happy to provide information, advice and directions regarding nearby attractions and points of... More
