Chris, the manager offered information concerning activities planned for Alabama football. He is available for all our needs. The hotel is completing improvements. We plan to stay additional week-ends.

I found this hotel via Priceline. The curbside impression was one of a well kept facility exuding southern charm. The lobby and public areas were clean and well kept. The room was decent but like, Jay, I found the carpet too grimy to walk on barefooted. I'm not sure it had ever been cleaned. Hotel staff were very friendly and... More

I am writing this review because I saw a 2013 Trip Advisor award sign at reception. I arrived about 10 pm after traveling four hours. After ringing the bell at the desk four times, the attendant finally arrived after fifteen minutes as I was drafting an email to the general manager whose business card was displayed. Check-in went fine and... More

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night on our trip to New Orleans. We arrived around 1130 and were checked in very quickly. The lobby area was very clean and nice. We booked a king suite- with a King size bed and a pull out couch. There was a refrigerator in the room as well. The bed... More

Room and lobby area clean enough, bed was very comfortable. Staff was prompt, friendly, and helpful. No swimming pool was kind of a bummer, but no time to use it anyway and they offered a discount to a nearby swim park. Breakfast was basic but adequate. Its not a 5 star resort, but it is economical and adequate. I would... More

Just moved my son into his dorm at UA and spent two nights here. For the money, it was a great value. I was especially pleased by the lighting and quality of the linens. The location met our needs and it was convenient to the highway. The parking lot was well lit. The front desk staff was friendly.

Roll Tide to this review! It brings us a lot of joy to see students aspiring in their academics along with sporting careers to stay with us here at Centerstone Inn & Suites Tuscaloosa. Our hotel does definitely have value in mind with the room rate we do include: hot breakfast, wifi, micro/fridge, hospitable and clean environment. As a 100%... More

We stayed at this motel through Hotels Tonight. Jay was friendly upon check in. As a previous reviewer said... it looks great until you look closely... "like putting lipstick on a pig". It has supposedly been renovated lately. The walls are colorfully painted but the carpets are filthy in the hallway and in the room. We were given the queen... More

The Centerstone Inn used to be a different hotel when it was new. As is common in the industry, hotel ownership changes, or they are constantly in renovation. First thing that got me curious was the sign at check in. We are adding $1.00 to your room charge for a safe provided. Please let us know at check out if... More

We do not charge $1 for safe fee and any signage of that has been removed completely. Our beds were replaced at the hotel with the new bedding type that is used within the industry equivalent to Wyndham and Choice hotel properties. Our remodeling is being finished this upcoming month before the football season in Tuscaloosa as we want to... More

I have stayed here several times in the past 3 years. They did have a few smoking rooms, but they do NOT anymore. Also, the pool has been filled in with concrete, so not real refreshing. They do allow pets for a $20 per night charge. Beds are okay, room size is average. They are friendly, free breakfast is a... More

Hard to beat being situated next to I20, Cracker Barrel and the Pilot Travel Center. Also, a direct route to UA campus us University Blvd. Nice value. Nothing fancy. Friendly service. Breakfast was not advertised but was available and nice to have. Clean rooms. Away from hustle and bustle of Tuscaloosa, but still very convenient.
