This seems to be a conference center built in the 1980s that's seen better days. It's in need of a major renovation. Guest amenities such as soap, linens and the breakfast bar were minimalist. In its favor, it was quiet and back from the highway. It's centrally located.

To set expectations - this is a last resort hotel. Rooms have the smell of smoke and cheap perfume. Beds had hair in them, the locks are not functioning properly (safety issues), and furniture has that gross sticky surface thing. If you are in a bind - it's not as bad as a "no tell motel" - but I wouldn't... More

It's hard for me to understand how so many people are rating this hotel with one star. This is a fine property exactly what you should get for what you're paying. My daughter was booked to perform in a songwriter round at the Singing River Bar & Grill. located inside the Jameson Inn. We stayed there, as well. On a business trip I found this hotel very attractive for various reasons. 1. The room rate very reasonable for multiple night stay. 2. During the reservation call.. I found the guest specialist very friendly and informative about the area. 3. On site bar and the food was a surprise package Will stay again at this place in May 2015.

We only stayed here because they accepted pets - but after actually trying to sleep there I'd have to say sleeping in the car might have been better. Called to confirm reservation and advise be there on time and was told did not have one. I had made it several months back. Still had to attend a meeting there and met others who had the same issue I had. The hotel needs some updates, repairs and better customer care.

This hotel shows signs that it was a three star property. Refurbishment and a thorough cleaning is needed to bring it back to its former glory. Attention to house keeping detail will immediately improve things. Seeing debris through the elevator window as you ascend is not very inviting.

I can not believe we canceled our reservations with Key West Hotel to book here! Lee from Muscle Shoals Parks and Recreations recommended this hotel. Stayed here before but this place is going downhill. Front desk manager was very rude and hotel needs a lot of work.
