When I checked in the first room had a strong smoking smell, I asked for another and had to settle for a double instead of a king. Actually I don't know what other motels are available in the area. We were travelling through and were tired and needed somewhere to stay. The room was very nice and the beds were great. Everything was clean and the rooms are reasonably priced. The breakfast was not all that crash hot but was adequate. more

This is a very nice Comfort Inn. I have stayed at many CI's throughout Alabama and this one is very nice given its age. The rooms have been recently remodeled and have microwaves and refridgerators in the rooms. In my opinion it is nicer than the Jameson Inn across the street and much more accessible. more
