My door is chained shut but I keep finding it opened. Unless Housekeeping is coming at 10 o'clock at night it isn't them. Housekeeping has come in the room multiple times after being told not to. Stuff has been moved around. My key card was reset multiple times. Never before actively worried about the possibility of stuff being stolen from... More

I have to agree with the review written by the one before me. But,really, for 200 RMB, what do you expect? We stayed at a Motel 168 Branch nearest to the hongqiao airport. The name escapes me at the moment. We used this motel ONLY for its proximity to the said airport, nothing more. If we wanted comfort, etc etc,... More

Staying in Gubei / Hongqiao / Minhang

Neighborhood Profile
Gubei / Hongqiao / Minhang
West of Shanghai’s better-known business, cultural and entertainment centers, lies an expansive area of residential neighborhoods peppered with lifestyle pockets that have their own unique attractions. The schools have formed pockets of international communities throughout Gubei, Hongqiao and Minhang. Quite a few entertainment and shopping centers have built up over the years to cater to these communities. While living here means you are relatively far away from Shanghai’s usual hot spots, the large parks, spacious homes and proximity to great Japanese and Korean food keep the neighborhoods popular.
