If you're looking for a boutique style hotel in a very good location, this is the one. Very comfortable feeling place. The bed was also quite comfortable and the room was fairly surprisingly spacious. Friendly staff although it was a bit odd that while all of them are local Chinese they refuse to speak Mandarin to any guest; must be... More

I have stayed there for 3 nights. The location is right in the middle of the downtown where you can easily find the shopping and dining places. The hotel is fantastically decorated with very modern finished. The room is spacious with the pantry where you can cook and do some small stuff easily. The best part is the service which... More

Very big and clean bed, good breakfast, tea time, beverages and wines. Free drinks in the fridge! Air conditioning was too warm which made me sweat during sleeping. Found some hairs in the bathtub. Overall is excellent, and will stay again.

This is a cool little hotel, close to everything. The rooms are tasteful, spacious, have their own kitchenette, comfortable decor and a vibe in the lobby that feels like one's own living room, complete with soft drinks and a cold beer for the taking. There are tons of nearby restaurants, (try Wagas just half a block east) and super close... More

I stayed at the Cachet for 2 nights on work, the location is brilliant in a fun area. The staff were very pleasant and the manager took the time to have a chat on a couple of occasions. The executive room was very spacious, included a good breakfast (with decent eggs!) and the happy hour and free minibar was appreciated.... More

I chose the hotel because of location, but I was not dissapointed with the rest! Very cosy, quiet, very good service, good breakfast and "happy hour" drinks and food! 30 meters from Nankin West Rd. Subway station. Enjoy!

I went without high expectations, as some of the reviews are not so good. Yet despite that and despite that I booked it, as compared to other hotels in that price range it seemed better, plus I wanted to be in that area, as it is a great location with immediate access to the metro, food courts, shopping cheap and... Staying in Jing'an

Neighborhood Profile
Jing'an
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
