I stay at this hotel during these 2 weeks in this July due to the business. Now, this is one of my most favorite hotels Because employees are so kinds and take care of me always. Especially, Lina, Tom and Kevin, who are located in hotel lounge, are really good employees. When I went to there, they always call me... More

This is a nice hotel and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Nothing seemed to be any trouble for them and they were always eager to please and to help. The hotel is situated near to some typically busy Shanghai roads so you need to take care when crossing the road! But this is the same everywhere in Shanghai.... More

The hotel is located on a popular area of Shanghai. Subway is nearby and convenience. The service of this hotel is quite okay. The food are also quite good. The room is clean and comfortable. Shopping mall is right next to the hotel building. One of the downsides is the hotel is located on top of a business building. You... More

The hotel itself is great, with good view of the city and fully equipped rooms. It's just right above the subway, so it's quite convenient to travel around. And there's a huge shopping mall attached to the hotel, which is amazingly crowded and busy all the time. It is definitely a good place for vacation, more suitable for business trip.

This is my first time at this hotel We used to stay at the Marriott Puxi, but moved to this hotel this year. It's a 5-star property, and the people who work here are all professional and helpful. My associates paid for the executive suites, and I have been their guest for the free breakfasts. The conference room is nice... More

Decent Marriott brand hotel, with everything you would expected from the brand. Staff very friendly and helpful, excellent location with a big shopping centre in the same building and metro station underground which takes you to anywhere in Shanghai. Stayed there many times and will stay again in my next trip. The only thing they can improve proberbly is the... More

It's a western hotel with all details. Nice rooms, a bit small. The showers were hot. The beds very comfortably. WiFi was working pretty fast for China standard. Just as a reminder any Google sites or apps, Facebook , Twitter, youtube and some Amazon.com apps wouldn't work in China even at the western hotels.

Stayed here for two nights, Have been here before, and the experience has been good...highlights are location, tidiness and room space. But from my personal views, there are rooms to improve, if the hotel can focus on details. 1) I checked in about 2 pm. on June 23, when there happened to be a fire drill right after that. The... This was my first trip to China and what an excellent introduction to the country! While there was no official shuttle, there are several ways to arrive from the airport. I chose to hire a regular taxi (even though UBER is available too which I found out later) but the rest of my group took the train. The train station... More

I was there before so the expectations were high and mostly met. Checkin and checkout were professional and friendly, the room was clean, not so spacy as last time, maybe another room class. Breaky was great, with a wide variety of western, japanese and chinese dishes, very impressive. The last morning we had to leave early and got a lunch... More

Staying in Zhongshan Park

Neighborhood Profile
Zhongshan Park
The residential and commercial areas around the beautiful grounds of Zhongshan Park have never been considered particularly fashionable by a majority of Shanghai’s foreign residents, but plenty of expats do choose to live here. The park itself is a huge draw, providing a pocket of serenity in the middle of the metropolis. The area has its share of trendy shops with wares that can’t be found elsewhere, delicious restaurants with food ranging from fancy to affordable, and great hidden bars. Rents are also cheaper here than in other neighborhoods with the same conveniences. Aside from the obvious attractions, with its neighborhood fix-anything shops and pop-up street stalls that sell anything you need, you’ll never sacrifice Western comforts.
