China South Airlines changed my flights 3 times. I arrived too late for my connecting flight. Learn quickly in China if you have problems, nobody wants to help, even if the airline cancelled my flights. Tired after travelling from Hongqiao Shanghai airport, I booked into this hotel. There are two hotel buildings the north and south, I had no reservation,... More

This is the most filthy hotel I have ever stayed in in my entire life. There were hairs and stains on the carpet and on the linen. This hotel made me want to vomit. I dare not remove my shoes. The bathroom had been cleaned. There were 2 pairs on dirty underpants in the desk drawer. We were given a... More

I had to stay at the hotel for one night (not by choice) but the experince left a bad memory after such a good stay in China. As mentioned by most others, the hotel is dirty , badly maintained with stained lined and a TV with remote that does not work. The staff were the worst that i've ever seen-... More

I have stayed at other airline hotels, hotels near/in the airports, and this one is by far the worst one. Lots and lots of people stay at this hotel (for short periods) for its proximity to the Pudong Airport, which should probably explain why it felt so filthy - stained carpets, mold everywhere in the bathroom, dusty rooms. As smoking... More

I had a very short (2 days) weekend to spend in Shanghai, and I had to leave early on the Monday morning, so I picked an inexpensive hotel right at the airport- this one. It is VERY idiosyncratic, to say the least. The shuttle to the airport meant I didn't have to stay in it very much. I used the... More

En route overnight stop at this hotel, before going onto Heathrow. As previous comments, we had to load our own luggage onto shuttle bus. The check in was quick but difficult with language barrier. The carpets were filthy and stained, guess this is why the lighting was so dim. There were 5 other people travelling on the same journey from... More

I'm not as eloquent and funny as some of the reviewers - so ...don't ... Don't ... DON'T!! Dirty carpet. Moldy bathroom. Frayed towels. Weird television system (all in Chinese any way). Indifferent staff (those in the restaurants on their mobile phones the whole time). Went to the "coffee shop" for dinner, I was the only person there. Bad food... More

First shock came when I went to get in the shuttle provided by the hotel. The driver was mumbling and rude and watched me struggle with my bags. Once I got the shuttle, he finally put my bags in the shuttle - I was kind of expecting to do it myself. Arriving at the hotel was even bigger shock -... More

First shock - check in. We booked Deluxe double room. Instead of that room reception provided standard twin room. I had to explain her the difference between single, twin and double beds. Finally we got deluxe room, but then we got second shock. Room was incredibly dirty. The carpet on the floor is not only covered with stains, it is... More

On arrival back in Shanghai we had 1 night booked at this hotel, I thought with the price they were charging we'd be staying somewhere reasonable and that we would have access to the following hotel facilities: Glass lift, free sweets at reception, infinity swimming pool, gym facilities, Jacuzzi and sauna and in the rooms I was expecting at the...
