I stayed in Pullman Skyway Shanghai hotel during the month of July for 4 night. Its a nice hotel with good location to people looking to visit Shanghai World Expo. The rooms are clean with good amenities. I stayed on the 35th Floor with the view towards the Bund. The nearby places have good joints to eat and roam. The... More

As soon as you enter the lobby you know you're walking into a 5 star hotel. Lots of glitz and glamour. However, since this was our last stop on our tour with China Spree, we were used to much friendlier service at the other stops. The rooms were spacious but not as clean as some of the others. In fact,... More

We had read reviews of this hotel before we booked it and were pleased with the positive comments but a little skeptical that they should be so glowing. That was soon remedied the minute we walked into the lobby. The hotel is wonderful, light and airy, modern yet incorporating traditional values. The staff were incredibly helpful and though many of... More

We stayed at the Pullman Shanghai Skyway Hotel as part of a ChinaSpree tour. ChinaSpree chooses excellent hotels, and this was no exception. The Pullman is an attractive high-rise hotel, which can be seen from many parts of the city. Our room was very big, with floor-to-ceiling windows, attractive contemporary decor, and a nice city view. The bathroom was large... More

They say the bigger the hotel the cooler the welcome - this hotel is an example why this need not be so. Certainly there were so many staff we hardly spoke to anyone twice, but every time we were treated with warm respect and an obvious concern for our comfort and happiness. Nothing was ever too much trouble for the... More

Stayed for business, unfortunately, during Expo. Our taxi couldn't even get into the drive way as some idiot parked a bus across the entry way. We had to drag our bags from the street. This hotel was so over the top in security - the security process of a metal detector and pat down was ridiculous. The personnel dedicated to... More

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Pullman as part of the NZ group performing at the opening of the World Trade Expo, so our accomodation was pre-booked for us. This did cause some problems as were unable to bill anything back to our rooms, but that was not the hotel's fault. While my husband was working, the children... More

We stayed 4 nights at the Pullman Shanghai. We chose the hotel as most reviews were fairly good, but were severely disappointed when we stayed there. First the staff was almost not able to speak (or understand) English. When entering the hotel everyone had to undergo an uncomfortable security check (what for?). We arrived in the morning and our connecting... More

We ended our China holiday with 5 nights at this hotel and it was a very good way to finish our trip. The hotel location was fine for us - a metro stop 5 minutes walk away and both convenience stores and a supermarket close by. There were restaurants very close too ( we did not try any). The hotel... This was my fourth stay in this hotel. I discovered it back in March 2009 via Opodo and it had wonderful prices back then for a hotel of its category (650 RMB + per night including a great buffet breakfast). I returned in September and in October 2009 (prices were increasing slightly to 750RMB +, still with breakfast). I joined... More
