When my cousin was eating breakfast, someone went in her room and stole something! She reported to the staff and police, the staff was very unwilling to help and told her there is no security camera outside her room.

Well, where do I start. For the price it's probably not fair to judge too much, however I've been to better hostels for similar cost. The good: close to Caoyang Rd station. The bad: corridor full of shouting kids at night. And the ugly: a very smelly bathroom.

For the money this place is substandard. The rooms are very basic, no character with bathrooms full of mould, bad showers and unreliable hot water. Front desk staff speak limited english and offer typical chinese hospitality or lack thereof.
