the room is large and modern, if you get one of the room that's facing South, you'll have a great view to the entire French Concession area. There are plenty of local restaurants nearby and across the streets, and there's bakery around the corner on Pang Yu Road, and massage in the back alley. Metro # 2, JiangSu road station... More

I used this hotel for 3 nights while Ina business trip to Shanghai. The staff did not explain anything to me either when i checked in or went to eat. I thing most of them did not speak English and did not want to be embarrassed. But still it is their job to tell you what facilities are available. I... More

I'm very much of two minds about this place - on the one hand, the staff were efficient, courteous and friendly. They lent us a DVD player for our staycation, came quickly to repair the sink and delier extra pillows when asked. On the the other hand, the place looks pretty tired, the breakfast was bad and the gym was... More

This hotel is not near anything and is not even walking distance to a metro. About a RMB35 taxi ride from Hongqio airport but getting a taxi back from the hotel is a nightmare. Also the tax drivers get confides is the address Eat of WEST! If you end up outside a very stern building with no English then you've... More

This is at least my 3rd stay in the hotel. I always stay on the club floor. I agree with several of the reviews which are positive on the large room, very good beds, good size bathroom with separate soaking tub and shower. But as one recent review noted that the very large towel are nice but worn out. The... More

This was my second stay at this hotel over the past couple of years and my impression hadn't changed that it was a good business hotel, nicely appointed and most definitely a 5 star for Chinese hotel. Location: It is located in the middle of Shanghai downtown and easy to get to places you would want to go if you... More

I like to stay in this hotel when I am in Shanghai as traveling distance to our office and the airport is fair and much better than staying at the Bund. Prices are very competitive and the rooms are equipped with everything you need during a business stay.

Good standards for a 5 star Chinese hotel. Very impressive foyer, bar and general public spaces. Breakfast is good but not brilliant. The rooms are large, well appointed, with a good bathroom and a great view

I stayed 2 nights last week at Longemont for a business trip. Overall, a good hotel but doesn't match standards you could expect for this category of establishment. I was on the 42nd floor in a large room overlooking the back of the hotel. The hotel is lost in the middle of nowhere, it is located on the foot of... More

I have been staying at longemonth in Shanghai very recently, a very "Chinese" 5 star hotel which I believe is not worth the price I paid. Room fairly big, design colorful and dark, shape of the furnitures not very good, a refurbishment is needed very soon, generally within the room and the breakfast restaurant the level of cleaning is not... Staying in Zhongshan Park

Neighborhood Profile
Zhongshan Park
The residential and commercial areas around the beautiful grounds of Zhongshan Park have never been considered particularly fashionable by a majority of Shanghai’s foreign residents, but plenty of expats do choose to live here. The park itself is a huge draw, providing a pocket of serenity in the middle of the metropolis. The area has its share of trendy shops with wares that can’t be found elsewhere, delicious restaurants with food ranging from fancy to affordable, and great hidden bars. Rents are also cheaper here than in other neighborhoods with the same conveniences. Aside from the obvious attractions, with its neighborhood fix-anything shops and pop-up street stalls that sell anything you need, you’ll never sacrifice Western comforts.
