I was on a business trip to Shanghai last week and stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. At the reception desk I was told that the room I booked was not available so they upgraded the room for me. I received a big one with 2 separate bedrooms, 1 toilet, a kitchen and a very spacious area from the... More

This review is late, unfortunately. But I'm hoping you'll find it useful. This is central Shanghai. Pudong has the 'bling', whilst Changning is great for it's convenience. This property of serviced apartments used to be the 'Summit Service Apartments.' It's been under new management as well as under construction for awhile. It's only 50 yards from the Regent Hotel. Which... More

I stayed here for two months and found the overall stay okay. The apartments are quite spacious for the city but are in need of a massive overall and refurbishment. The location is decent, although the 15 minute walk to the metro is annoying but you get used to it. The road is good for stopping cabs though as it... More

I lived here for 3 month... The hotel is absolutely not the best... Is not new and is not cared.... Is 15 min far from the metro stations and this is annoying... expecially when is hot.. Just to survive for some time but you can found better choices in Shanghai...

I stayed at Rayfont for one week and was overall satisfied. There is a large, decent bathroom, big TV with 24 hour English movies, daily housekeeping, very good service from the front desk and concierge. I didn't really like the area as its quite commercial, lacks character and there are no supermarkets nearby. The room is pretty small with a... More

I was in need of a bed after a late business meeting and as I was meeting people in the same area I felt it was the ideal choice for the night.....yes its was by no means Grand Hyatt....but the location of the Rayfont is good and value for money also very good, but maybe its time to update the... The room is in good conditions, you can see that the walls and the windows are not in the best conditions, they look old and without maintenance. The beds are not the best ones because they are very hard, but if you are very tired you don't care and also they're very clean, and the bathroom too. Daily they provide... More

Decent rooms, excellent location.. 2 bedroom suite is convenient for long stay travellers (we stayed for a month) as the living room is large and there is a kitchen attached.. rooms could be cleaner, though, and better maintained... overall, however, good value for money..

First of all the pictures you find about this hotel are a genuine scam! I was so excited to get there and enjoy the hotel, that when I got there and actually saw it with my own eyes, I cried. I even believe they gave us a nasty room on purpose! It was small, the windows were a joke, shaking... More

Location: It is NOT downtown and if you are tricked into thinking that any of the local places are within waliing distance? Nope! Jingan Temple area is 35 minutes walk and Zhong shan Park is probably about 45 minutes. Nearest Metro station being Jiangsu Road (line 2, line 11), approx 30 minutes walk. Taxi on the other had to either... More
