Very Poor living, even for China. My college student stayed here for an internship with an International company that arranges these for students. The living was not what was described. The internship job and support on the ground was not what was promised. Basically, NOTHING was what was promised. You cannot find negative reviews on this company, they seem to... More

Pretty old and shabby hotel, rooms are clean in general, but all the rest requires attention, repair and rennovation. Breakfasts cheap and cold, single person at reception never smiles :) I woudn't recomend this one, even it was not expencive at all.

I was on a business trip to Shanghai last week and stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. At the reception desk I was told that the room I booked was not available so they upgraded the room for me. I received a big one with 2 separate bedrooms, 1 toilet, a kitchen and a very spacious area from the... More

This review is late, unfortunately. But I'm hoping you'll find it useful. This is central Shanghai. Pudong has the 'bling', whilst Changning is great for it's convenience. This property of serviced apartments used to be the 'Summit Service Apartments.' It's been under new management as well as under construction for awhile. It's only 50 yards from the Regent Hotel. Which... More

I stayed here for two months and found the overall stay okay. The apartments are quite spacious for the city but are in need of a massive overall and refurbishment. The location is decent, although the 15 minute walk to the metro is annoying but you get used to it. The road is good for stopping cabs though as it... More

I lived here for 3 month... The hotel is absolutely not the best... Is not new and is not cared.... Is 15 min far from the metro stations and this is annoying... expecially when is hot.. Just to survive for some time but you can found better choices in Shanghai...

Staying in Zhongshan Park

Neighborhood Profile
Zhongshan Park
The residential and commercial areas around the beautiful grounds of Zhongshan Park have never been considered particularly fashionable by a majority of Shanghai’s foreign residents, but plenty of expats do choose to live here. The park itself is a huge draw, providing a pocket of serenity in the middle of the metropolis. The area has its share of trendy shops with wares that can’t be found elsewhere, delicious restaurants with food ranging from fancy to affordable, and great hidden bars. Rents are also cheaper here than in other neighborhoods with the same conveniences. Aside from the obvious attractions, with its neighborhood fix-anything shops and pop-up street stalls that sell anything you need, you’ll never sacrifice Western comforts.
