EF tours last hotel on tour. Not sure what others are talking about. First room was so stinky had to ask for different room. Next room was not much better. Evidently vacuum cleaners do not exist in Shanghai, carpets in common areas and rooms were filthy. I mean like visibly filthy and stained, smelled musty and wreaked of cigarette smoke... More

I had stayed in this hotel for 5 occasion during the last 6 years....I had really enjoyed staying here. Its a good 3* hotel.... buffet breakfast was great-- with good continental food for me :) Close proximity to Xujiahui area for Electronic market and Restaurants. Near by a lovely park....enjoyed the evening dance Only problem, which is quite common in... More

Stayed in this hotel in end of March for 4 days. Time from Pudong airport to hotel was about 50 minutes by car. The hotel itself was acceptable. The room upon arrival was not ready (may be because I arrived too early at 11am) and was forced to wait for the cleaning being finished. The room itself had enough space,... More

I have now stayed in this hotel on four occasions over several years. On my last three trips I stayed in a King Size suite and on this last trip ( December 2013January 2014) I stayed in suite no. 82510. I found the suite to be well maintained, regularly cleaned, and having spectacular views. The bathroom was well equipped with... More

Excellent location, close to 3 subway stations and many bus routes, taxi is always available, lots of boutiques just around the corner, walking distance to XuJiaHui, fancy shopping area. Front desk was extremely helpful. Floor 15 and 22 are smoke free, complimentary breakfast, two restaurants in hotel, enjoyed the stay. NO WIFI

This is a Hotel which is best liked for its location and cleanliness. Its a 3 star but the facilities are more than adequate for a pleasant stay . Front Desk persons speak reasonably good English, but for other services it is advisable to know Dumb Charade . But this is true for almost all Hotels in Shanghai. Rooms are... More

35 of us from Cincinnati were on a tour and stayed here while in Shanghai. I really liked the neighborhood in the French Concession area. You can walk to the nearby park and observe folks doing their daily Tai Chi exercises, etc. There are shops and restaurants all nearby. Our room # 1511 was modern and clean with a Queen bed.... More

3rd stop, nicest on 3 city tour - our guide called it "Swanky." 4 star rooms. 2 twins or queen. Rooms overlooked park or Chinese garden & amazing neon lights (8-10). Clean. 2 bottles of free water daily (don't even brush teeth with tap water in China). 3 free business floor computers (9-9). Evening hotel floor hostess at elevator. Good... More

I stayed in this Hotel for 8 days in January 2011, and I last stayed here in 2005. I booked a De Luxe Suite room through Expedia for about Au$90 per day inclusive of tax. The suite ( 1503) which was extremely comfortable, comprised two separate rooms with own flatscreen TVs, lounge chairs and work desk. The suite was meticulously... More

This hotel has very spacious rooms for being located in the city. The rooms and bathrooms were very new and nice. The beds are nice and there is a flat screen. The views were quite impressive out the window as well (though they are not of the famous part of the skyline). The hotel is near two of Shanghai’s universities.... More
