This hotel located in West Nanjing Road. 1 minute walk away from Shanghai Metro Line 2 (use exit 4 nearest). Outside the hotel are all eateries. Try the 2 most famous dumpling at Food Plaza (above Metro exit 4 station) both located at 2nd floor. Shanghai taxi is very cheap and plenty so i won't give any credit for the... More

i have stayed here about 6 different times. By far the best place I have stayed in Shanghai. For the money you can not beat the room, service, location, buffet, restaurant, and atmosphere. I hate giving it a good review because it will be harder for me to get a room next time. The staff is number one period. No... More

This hotel is great for location and one of the main reasons why we chose this hotel, it is 1-2 minutes away from West Nanjing Station and there are also restaurants and drinks stores and a 7 Eleven (Popular Asian newsagent) nearby the hotel. When we arrived to the hotel we found the room not so clean and there are... More

Hotel environment is good with clean room. Situated in the market near tube where accebility to various locations including international air port is very easy. Free wifi and complementary breakfast is available at reasonable price.

stayed for three nights (Nov 2014) in an Executive business room which is generous in size, the bed is very comfortable, but that is where the good news ends...sadly. The bathroom is very small in comparison and full of mould (Manager says: "all bathrooms are like that" so there is no point changing rooms), the central heating was set far... More

The hotel is at a great location. Close to Shanghai railway station and very close to subway stop (3 minute walk). It is located on a walking street full of restaurants. We did not have the hotel breakfast and instead enjoyed the 50% the Wagas breakfast on weekdays which is a few minutes walk down the street. I saw another... More

I stayed at this hotel for the third time last March. When no one is available to come pick me up at the airport, it's really convenient to go there by taxi since I kept the business card I took upon my first stay and drivers never have problems finding the place, a difficulty I've encountered trying to go to... I have stayed there 4 times now as my client located nearby have booked me in this hotel. Don't expect too much from the hotel itself. It is quite far from Pu Dong airport. The room is not big but it is tidy; Has complimentary Internet (wired) access in room and free wifi in the lobby. The staff speak sufficient... More

We stayed here on a recommendation from a friend and it was a great choice. Yes the beds are a little hard but if you have ever been to china this is to be expected. They do have softer mattress tops you can request at no charge. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. The hotels location is an easy... More

This hotel is very well located. There are many shopping places close to the hotel as well as many restaurants. The subway is also very close, so it's easy to explore the city. Don't expect to be well rested though: the mattress is really hard and the air conditionning is not enough to fight the heat of the summer. Rooms... More

Staying in Jing'an

Neighborhood Profile
Jing'an
The heart of this neighborhood is the Jing'an Temple, while the main artery of excitement and entertainment is West Nanjing Road. Close to the Former French Concession, the area has a similar draw for foreign residents but displays a more commercial character. Large, flashy malls, luxe residential high-rises and trendy nightlife areas can be found along West Nanjing Road, but areas off the busy street have the same quiet cafes and independent boutiques that many people think of as distinctive of the Former French Concession. Jing'an is less encased in amber, though, and it's possible to immerse yourself more fully in the energy of China's most bustling metropolis here.
