Certainly if you must stay overnight at the Shanghai Airport this is an adequate option as it is confidently connected to the facility with easy access to the terminals, train and metro. The hotel is somewhat run down by China standards whereI have become spoiled since the late 1980's with their magnificent hotels. The service is nonexistent with little girls... More

This hotel is adjacent to terminal 1 of Hongqiao airport and extremely convenient if you have only a short stopover. The garden is one of the nicest of any airport hotel we've seen, and the public areas are well furnished, with great breakfasts (the best we had during a recent trip to China). The down side is the bedrooms. Some... More

I guess this was a good hotel in the past, but it seems dated now by modern western standards. The staff at check in did as much as possible to please, and did speak English. The lobby gives a feeling of rich oriental from 1970's, but some how that doesn't work today. On entering the corridor to the bedrooms, there... More

Delta shagged me on my flight out of Hong Kong and i ended up flying out of Shanghai instead. This was a last minute booking and seemed harmless enough. The price was really cheap, around USD75 a night. Check in went without hitch, the lobby was a bit dated and the check in counter looked like a 4th grade art... More

The hotel lobby is nice and there is a restaurant with smoking and non-smoking sections. You may have trouble with being understood if you don't speak Chinese because the staff have very limited English. At the restaurant you can get by ordering from the pictured menus. The breakfast buffet is nice. A nice Japanese style garden encircles the hotel (nice... More

I only ended up staying here because United Airlines canceled my flight. They booked and paid for the room, so I have no idea what the regular rate is. Because our flight was canceled, a whole airplane full of people were trying to check into the hotel at the same time. Thus there was a long wait and a lot... More

The internet is non-existent. For all practical purposes there is no internet. I never managed to completely upload one web page. Note that this hotel is located in the Airport and is actually two hotels. The North tower is a 3-star property with small run-down rooms. The South tower is a 4-star property that is decent and clean with more... More

The hotel was a accidental and circumstantial need for me to save my self from geeky taxi driver. The taxi driver took me from Pudong to some place which i did not know. Though i had my hotel reservation at other place in city.. to escape from taxi driver. I opted to go for this hotel.. understanding my problem... HOTEL... More

This hotel could have a lot going for it. It’s halfway between Terminal one and Two, with walkways to get to each terminal, so no shuttle required to get to and from the hotel. It is above a central plaza, where there are fast food outlets and a convenience store. It is from here that the Metro/Subway trains and Maglev... More

This hotel is located outside of the main terminals at PVG. A colleague and I were put up here after missing our connection. We were there on a Saturday and it was extremely quiet - almost like a morgue. The room is just different - it was very, very clean. The bathroom was stocked with anything you might have forgotten...
