This is a wonderful historic renovation. Well done and I hope to see much in the future. Often places in Shanghai become popular and then a couple of years the service goes down and people flock elsewhere. I hope this does not happen. What a hotel, the experience of this refurbished hotel built in the 1920's is nothing but breath taking. When in Shanghai stay here it is worth more than 5 stars. The Cathay room for dinner is also 5 star. More

Fantastic value, beautifully restored. The jazz bar is a must, obviously more popular than ever as tickets now required when none needed in the past. The newly opened Cin Cin bar is very opulent and reclusive. More
