Can,t keep myself away from Shanghai (and surrounding cities), thus for some holiday time we went back to Grand Hyatt just 4 months later than my previous visit in December! We were given the same suite, I think this gives an idea of how thoughtfully guests are remembered ; the Director of Rooms was there to greet us, and all staff made our stay unforgettable once more. Concierge team arranged best seats for shows, private... More

The Grand Hyatt Shanghai is in one of the most iconic buildings in the world, Shanghai's Jin Mao Tower. It is, or recently used to be, the tallest hotel in the world as the hotel lobby only starts at the 52nd floor and the rooms go up from there. The rooms are nice and comfortable, as are the bathrooms, although not a ton of closet space for folded things. Views are beautiful from the common... More

The Grand Hyatt Shanghai occupies floors 54 through 88 of the Jin Mao Tower. From check-in on the 54th floor through the Grand Club Lounge, all areas are outstanding, clean and of interesting function. Service is generally impeccable. When my ala carte breakfast ran late, they provided me free use of the breakfast buffet. Pool on 57th floor looks out over Shanghai skyline. Other reviews criticize the view on the "construction side"....note that they are... More

the location is great, the view from the rooms or top bar is fantastic, the rooms are ok for this price. Breakfast is also good. have been ther for business for 2 nights, and we had dinner and have been for a drink later in the Atrium Bar. We had a private dining room in the 86. floor. first we orderd some campari orange, which was difficult to explain, as the personal did not understand... More

Grand Hyatt Shanghai is an outstanding hotel. Landmark property located in the Jin Mao tower overlooking Shanghai. Rooms are very spacious, beds are superb, view is spectacular with rooms being located from floor 58 to floor 85. Also try the GrandClub Lounge - very accommodating staff! Spa and pool on floor 57 also recommended! More

I suppose I should preface by saying I'm going to focus on the GH but I also reviewed the Radisson, which I also stayed at during my time in Shanghai. This is a cool hotel. The most obvious aspect is the view from the 54th floor (the lobby) and up. The 30 or so story interior atrium is spectacular, and for you Star Wars geeks it hearkens to the Imperial Senate chamber. The room was... More

I am not a big fan of Shanghai, it is a giant concrete Jungle with horribe traffic and smog, but when I am there, Grand Hyatt makes it all better. the hotel is very close to "bund" area which has majority of attractions and restaurants. It is part of a grand tower and the Lobby is on 54 th floor or something like that. the hotel has been there for a while so there are... More

I spent 7 days in Shanghai and on the 74th Floor of the Grand Hyatt in this amazing city. This hotel was excellent from check in to check out. The staff are incredibly hospitable (not too overbearing) and were always available for any request. We were always greeted and assisted with pressing the lifts to finding your way through this hotel that started on the 54 floor to finished on level 85. My room was... More

This is a really good place to be! The first 54 floors are offices and the hotel runs from 55 to 89th floor. The views are amazing from every room (although I had a view of a constructions site). You really don't need to leave the hotel as the gym and spa are very good, plenty of restaurants of good quality, great service (pick up at the airport, English speaking personnel) and overall a good...
