I have stayed in this hotel a few times over the past 8 years, I always try to stay in the club rooms as this offers the club lounge with free drinks soft and alcoholic and hot and cold food for a few hours each evening from 5 pm. Also in with the price you can book a meeting room... More

I have taken my family to stay at the Grand Hyatt Shanghai, my family is totally impressed by the gorgeous view of the hotel. From the window you could see all the landmarks in Shanghai. The building is extremely high, not mention, it is also one of the landmark building in Shanghai. Staff were really friendly and attentive, the most... More

There are so many hotels in Pudong, so many new developments in the past few years and more to come that it's hard to choose a hotel. The GH Shanghai may seem to be outdated, but I have come to value the consistency of the hotel. Have stayed here a handful of times since Nov 2015 and even booked colleagues... More

This hotel us great and fabulous for a business traveller. Restaurant dies a great breakfast and evening meal and when it's not rainy and misty, this place has such a great view. Pool and gym are good. Staff very friendly. Luggage collection us downstairs so you don't have to go back up to reception to collect your bag!

I traveled with my family. I had been to the hotel before only for meal and drinks at Cloud 9 (and not only) so I knew more or less the foster areas that are amazing with a unique view! This time we had an overnight. We got a River View Queen Bed Room on the 63rd floor. The view of... More

I am currently ending a long business trip to China and decided to stay the last 4 days at the Grand Hyatt based on the recommendation from a colleague. While I do have my favorite hotels that I normally stay at when in Shanghai, I am going to have to put the Grand Hyatt on top of my list. We... More

2nd time in this hotel and have tried most of the hotels in town - Ritz / Four Seasons / Peace / Shangri-La / Westin etc, would say the most worth going ones are Peace Hotel and this one, provides you a view of the vintage and modern Shanghai.

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighborhood Profile
Lujiazui
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
