I stayed here 10 nights for business with convenient access to Shanghai Metro. Comfortable, spacious room with a separate working area and unparalleled views of Shanghai - had a view of the Pearl Tower and the river while taking into account the hotel is located between two of the tallest buildings in the world. Front desk, room service, housekeeping and... More

Here is what we appreciated: -spacious, comfortable room with feather duvet on the bed. -stunning views. -fantastic gym. -good quality breakfast. -nice and clean. -feels like the 5* hotel it is, fast wifi and VPN. On the negative side: - not much to complain about apart from the soulless sky bar called cloud 9. -also sometimes difficult getting taxis back... More

Hotel is in a good location with excellent views of Shanghai. The service was good and so are the facilities. The breakfast buffet is good but would pass on the italian restaurant. The pool is a reasonble size.

The view from this hotel which starts on the 54th floor is exceptional and the service/facilities are 2nd to none. I just finished a 6 night stay and never wanted to leave the hotel. You feel like the most important person in the world from the moment you arrive - the customer service is excellent. The fitness center is fantastic... More

The Grand Hyatt Shangahi is well situated along in Pudong and offers a spectacular view of The Bund across the river. This is clearly THE place to stay with a commanding view of the downtown area and centrally located. The staff is very friendly and helpful in getting you up to the sky lobby. A shoppers dream location!

It is a very very nice hotel! The view is outstanding. While you eat, around you can admire all the city! Going there it's a real experience. The restaurant is very good. Menu rich of different choices! I really recommend it if you are in Shanghai : )

My family stayed at Grant Hyatt for three nights in July. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the stay and didn't want to leave! The room is huge by Shanghai standard, the swimming pool is lovely, the bath tub and shower are well appointed, the food from room service is delicious. We experienced top service throughout the stay. If I just have... More

It was an excellent stay for me in the Grand Hyatt. Locating in the Jin Mao Tower, you can catch excellent views even in your hotel room! Unfortunately, our room was partially blocked by Shanghai Tower. The rooms were very clean and the wi-fi was very fast. Moreover, the IFC mall, the Shanghai World Financial Centre, the Oriental Pearl Tower,... More

This original Grand Hyatt is conveniently located in Pudong, within walking distance to Shanghai IFC, Pearl TV Tower and also Metro Station in under 10 minutes. The rooms are spacious but knowing China, this was the only hotel we visited which the In-room Wifi service allows one to access Google, Facebook, Instagram and Dropbox, GMail. It could normally be a... More

We spent three nights at the Grand Hyatt in Shanghai. Our room was in the 71st floor and we enjoyed a spectacular view. While the Grand Hyatt is less modern and mondane than the Park Hyatt, it offers a better a price for value than the sister hotel a few metres away. It has all the amenities of a five... More

Staying in Lujiazui

Neighborhood Profile
Lujiazui
When people speak of Shanghai’s futuristic skyline, it’s the financial district of Luiazui they are speaking of. Shanghai’s most iconic buildings are located in close proximity to Lujiazui’s elevated ring road and swanky eateries. Sky-high shopping and chic bars fill the highrises around the area. As is characteristic of a world-class financial business district, some of Shanghai’s best malls and hotels can be found in the neighborhood. While everyone on the famous Bund side of the river gazes in awe at these amazing structures, all the buildings here, as well as Lujiazui’s riverside promenade, offer great views of the historic buildings all along the Puxi side. The Lujiazui park often hosts music festivals throughout the year, and park goers can party and stroll in the shadow of some of the world’s tallest buildings.
