- REGAL SHANGHAI EAST ASIA HOTEL The 4-star hotel is located in the modern Xu Hui District. More precisely, the hotel compound is part of Xujiahui, a city within the city, with historic parks and buildings, contemporary retail, office, administration and residential structures. Line 1 takes passengers to Nanjing Road on the BUND and PEOPLE'S SQUARE right in the center of Shanghai. Line 11 connects to many other lines. The facilities of the hotel include a Cantonese restaurant THE PEAK, an all-day dining room STADIUM CAFE, a modern tenanted Japanese restaurant ZEN, TIFFANY LOUNGE with live entertainment in the evening, as well as the Cafe and Deli REGAL PATISSERIE. Function venues include on L1 the 300-dinner seat REGAL BALLROOM that can be 8 times subdivided for various capacities, and at G-level, the 300-dinner seat CRYSTAL BALLROOM flanked by 7 individual or subdivided function rooms, as well as a 14-seat convertible BOARDROOM. Additional facilities include a generous INDOOR POOL, SAUNA, GYM, a third party-operated SPA with 2 private room saunas. The hotel contains some retail outlets such as a styling salon, tailor, antique, specialty tea and jewelry boutiques. The hotel's top 3 floor levels are ideal for individuals doing business in this district of Shanghai. It is perfect for Meeting, Incentive, Conference and Exhibition (MICE) delegates during the typical business days and months. During weekends, public holidays and the vacation periods, it very much suits tourists who do not mind a Metro ride while staying at a hotel with a much more favorable room rate than at hotels in Pudong.
