The hotel was clean and comfortable and everyone was very kind and welcoming. I will admit, this hotel is a little off the beaten track (IE: not close to many amenities at the time of our visit), but we were fortuntate to have a friend of ours who knew their way around so took the metro/bus/cabs to get where we... The hotel is really nice with a brand new look. It is a newer hotel so everything is clean and new, including Apple computers in the lobby for use by anyone. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The breakfast was decent, mostly all Chinese food with little other options. It is exactly what you would expect from a Holiday... More

Some might consider the location of this hotel as "in the middle of no-where" and to the untrained eye, that is the case. Actually, now that i think about it is in the middle of no-where, but there is a line 13 metro station next door underneath a rather cool looking shopping centre, that only a few shops and restaurants... I never thought it would be possible, never imagined, i thought their culture was so sacred to them that western influence will never be possible, but upon arriving in the hotel, they speak english very fluently, reminds me of hong kong, it's like being in hong kong in the inner part of china, shang hai is a must see city,... Great Hotel. Slightly away from city but well connected by Metro. Close to SHA airport. Decent place. Very reasonable cost. This place has a currency conversion machine. Gave me the best rates for USD to RMB. One warning here..... The location shown on google maps is 1 crossing off. I have asked google maps to change the location. Maybe it... More

Stayed here for 4 nights, on a lesiure and part business purpose. Air con is not strong, no matter how low you set the temperature to. Was told that it was central air-con, they have pre-set the temperature. If that's the case, why do they even want to install a aircon control switch in the room? Also, the internet (wifi)... More

Ok, it's not THAT bad... just bad! Awful location, but super cheap. I guess you get what you pay for! I think you really cannot beat the price.. It's smack in the middle of a Chinese residential quarter... NOTHING around but car dealerships and ugly block of flats... You really don't want to get stranded here unless you speak Chinese!...
