Spent over an hour at airport waiting for a "Driver" and ended up taking their shuttle. 23 minutes from Airport is not close as it was described. Once we arrived no one spoke enough English to order a cab to downtown and they said all the restaurants where closed. We asked for a second key being there are two of... More

At hotel last week of April 2015 - Realised we were in for problem when hotel bus collected us from Shanghai airport and looked liked a builders van, dirty and unkept Approaching the hotel, the car park was full of breeze blocks, cement and builders equipment. As we went into reception, it looked like a continuation of the exterior, in other words... More

Under going major refurbishment April 2015, totally unfit for human habitation. Should be closed while builder are there. Absolutely awful place. Burn lamp in room, dust everywhere, shower black in the corners, batteries taken out of safe. Banging and drilling until nearly midnight.

The room was 280 Yuan. They charged us 400 as they said a deposit. They gave us the receipt of 280 at checkout and no money back for the deposit. The hotel is far form below of 4 stars. They are still working to refurbish it. Spending one nights between flights is OK but dont let them charge the deposit... More

We stayed at the Lihao Hotel as a China Eastern Airlines stopover on our way to a Japan Cherry Blosum Tour with Asia Discovery. We had seen the poor reviews of Lihao on TA so were apprehensive and contacted Asia Discovery to voice our concerns but were told AD no control over where the airline accommodated us! At first view... More

I have stayed this hotel several times. If you arrived at this hotel, may be you think "Wow, this is a ruins of a ancient Chinese hotel.". This hotel is something big, but the lobby is very dark and you cannot find other guests. The staffs work at the front desk, they doesn't wear any uniform or name tag. But... More

We were given this hotel by China Eastern Airlines as our overnight transit hotel. Firstly we are a family of five (with young children) and they wanted to give us three rooms. In the end we split ourselves up into two rooms. The bathrooms were appalling, mould all over the shower recess and one of the rooms smelt like urine.... More

The website for this hotel is very misleading. It is in an isolated suburb 15 minutes by taxi from the airport and the taxi drivers had trouble finding it. There is no pickup from the airport and the advertised shuttle from the hotel to the airport only runs in the mornings. The free breakfasts were ok but the waitresses in... More

We stayed here in January 2013. We arrived late and tired after a long trip, and we were pleasantly surprised by our room. This is a great hotel by Chinese standard. The beds are clean and comfortable. The decor is tasteful. The front desk might not speak English well, that happen to a lot of Chinese hotels.

China Eastern Airlines booked my stay here for one night after my flight from Shanghai to Siem Reap, Cambodia was cancelled, along with many other travellers from around the world who were in similar situations. My experience was poor from start to finish. To begin with, they shuttle you to the hotel from the airport in a very old, unsafe... More
