We stayed at the Lihao Hotel as a China Eastern Airlines stopover on our way to a Japan Cherry Blosum Tour with Asia Discovery. We had seen the poor reviews of Lihao on TA so were apprehensive and contacted Asia Discovery to voice our concerns but were told AD no control over where the airline accommodated us! At first view... More

I have stayed this hotel several times. If you arrived at this hotel, may be you think "Wow, this is a ruins of a ancient Chinese hotel.". This hotel is something big, but the lobby is very dark and you cannot find other guests. The staffs work at the front desk, they doesn't wear any uniform or name tag. But... More

We were given this hotel by China Eastern Airlines as our overnight transit hotel. Firstly we are a family of five (with young children) and they wanted to give us three rooms. In the end we split ourselves up into two rooms. The bathrooms were appalling, mould all over the shower recess and one of the rooms smelt like urine.... More

The website for this hotel is very misleading. It is in an isolated suburb 15 minutes by taxi from the airport and the taxi drivers had trouble finding it. There is no pickup from the airport and the advertised shuttle from the hotel to the airport only runs in the mornings. The free breakfasts were ok but the waitresses in... More

We stayed here in January 2013. We arrived late and tired after a long trip, and we were pleasantly surprised by our room. This is a great hotel by Chinese standard. The beds are clean and comfortable. The decor is tasteful. The front desk might not speak English well, that happen to a lot of Chinese hotels.

China Eastern Airlines booked my stay here for one night after my flight from Shanghai to Siem Reap, Cambodia was cancelled, along with many other travellers from around the world who were in similar situations. My experience was poor from start to finish. To begin with, they shuttle you to the hotel from the airport in a very old, unsafe... More

Stayed only one night and needed a place close to the airport. Was picked up in the hotels free shuttlebus which was very dirty and smelly. Bad sign. Arrived at the hotel and Found the reception service a joke. Almost no english abilities and extremely rude! The room was okay. The area itself is seriously depressing. And the price was... More

I can't write it is "awfull service", because here is no service. The reception and the restaurant doesn't have anyone speaking English, except one girl, that speaks a little, but is all so grumpy. No WiFi at the rooms. The environnemnt outside the hotel is really depressing, no place to go, no restaurant or shops or anything of interesst. And... More

The hotel was actually cheaper on the internet than guys at the counters at the airport were proposing so we booked it. Complimentary shuttle was a nice plus (it is way farther than stated 5km from the airport) and the driver was a like a crazy Russian guy on a speed boat. The rooms were somewhat clean. We got somehow... More

My flight was cancelled and the airline put me in this hotel overnight. As a hotel, it was OK for that purpose. The room was quite lovely. The photos on the TripAdvisor.com website are accurate. There were a few quirks, such as the A/C is tied into the light switch. When you turn the lights off to go to bed,... More
