Our room overlooked the bridge. Although this was a magnificent sight it was a little noisy at times. The room was very spacious & comfortable. The location was situated about 20 minutes from the Bund by taxi which was easy to access & affordable

We were on the 9th Floor overlooking the huge suspension bridge. We watched as the boats went up & down the river. From the 32nd Floor you can take some fantastic photos of Shanghai. Also internet is available on the 32nd floor. Hotel was very clean, huge bed and comfortable. We had a TV in the bathroom as you lounge... More

Stayed at the hotel for 4 days. Beautiful and large rooms. View from the window 11 floors overlooks the pier and poor neighborhoods. No decent restaurants nearby - you can only eat in the hotel or have to go to - somewhere in the center. Service at the hotel does not correspond to the declared level of 5 stars -... More

Nice room, but on 3 sides of building , crazy noice link proximity of Highway and main Shanghai bridge. Reception and check in have poor organization, 1 or 2 people serve , no clear queue, everybody jump in front of you, no management. Compare 1 year ago, thes hotel management level decrease a lot , maybe some Head change. Few... More

This hotel was very clean & comfortable. They had a good range on offer for breakfast. The beds were comfortable but firm. The foyer was very impressive with a large sweeping staircase the there were shops in the lobby as well which was good for last minute shopping.

The first 4 days of a 2 week tour of China were spent in this beautiful hotel. We had a very large, beautifully appointed room with an amazing view of the city. The room was very hot at night & we had to request that the air conditioning be turned on. The breakfast buffet was excellent and there iwas free... More

This was our fifth of 10 hotels on our tour. Hotel located in east end of city 20-minutes by car to downtown. Large lobby area beautiful but without seating. We were given a very nice room overlooking the 6-lane expressway a mere 50-metres away. The combination of the traffic noise, wind whistle through the windows frames, malfunctioning A/C and broken... I was here with a tour group. I found it very nice. Breakfast buffet had a very large selection, the best we had had in China. The room was clean but many of us had issues with the temperature in the room. The lounge and its staff were good, no complaints here. English was spoken well enough in the lounge.... More

We stayed as part of a group on a tour in this hotel. It was Fine - but that's it - the Most disappointing thing was the cleanliness of the furniture in the suite. We had a settee that was in disgusting repair - stains everywhere - not a Chance we would sit on it - and this is supposed... More

I've been to Shanghai many times and chose this hotel for a conference I was attending. Even though it is technically a western brand the experience was anything but. I think I was the only westerner in the hotel the first two days. The staff are friendly and some are attentive but language WILL be a problem for those who... More
